Me too.

The whole thing has just cemenetd my view that he's a annoying old man who loves the sound of his own voice.

Ha! Brilliant.

Will you still suck up?
Will you still f**k up?
When you're sixty four.

The fact is that the Judges are to blame for the whole mess this year. 2 have been particularly loathsome this year and need their wrinkled egos deflating rapidly.

"loathsome" is the word for it, too - excellent!

Moog5 "Wow, 180 degree turnaround in one post. Welcome to the forum, you'll go far."

WOW, What a horrible thing to say to a newbie. Hope people were more understanding when you first posted !!
I agree with the poster that the judges' votes were manufactured to keep teachers' pets in the competition. They just didn't take the public vote into account. IMO

And it is possible to change your mind while writing a post or whatever. Sometimes putting it on paper can make it a whole clearer.
Should it have been edited to accomodate(sp) the change...then no ..as it shows the OP was thinking things through.

I still totally think that Bruno and Len conspired it.

I think that Craig and Arlene are far more fair in their results, and didnt have anything to do with it.

O per-lease - how old are you? So Craig and Arlene are fair are they? Give me a break while I go off and have a quick laugh. Was it fair giving John Sargeant a score of 1 and who gave that? None other than the sainted Craig Upper Norwood himself. And Arleen - well - I think the least said about her scoring the better.

I can reveal that the scores for these dances was already decided beforehand by all four judges - they made notes. Bruno basically cocked it up by leaving his notepad in the gents loo and forgot what scores he should have been giving, so please don't blame Len! (LOVE 'Ask Len'!). I know this because the lady from catering who delivers the mixed fruit nibbles platter for the judges overheard the whole thing whilst she was tidying the fruit (as she'd accidentally dropped the platter on the floor as she walked in the door), and as she also doubles as the lady who also cleans the toilets during the show when she's quiet she found the notepad (with said scores), and showed it to my giddy aunt on Sunday morning over their customary cuppa, bacon butty, and sharing of BBC gossip! (Watch ebay!). I've no doubt this could topple the BBC as we know it!

It's easy when you know who's at fault each day...

Saturday: Bruno
Sunday: John Sargeant
Monday: The producers
Tuesday: Tom Chambers
Wednesday: Len
Thursday: Rachel Stevens
Friday: Craig

Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole are ever encompassing blame figures, with accusations heaped upon them if the poster cannot bring themselves to blame that day's fault figure.

Hope this helps.

Can I suggest the swap the Tuesday for the Wednesday when I think you'll have got it about right? (Is 'Ask Len' on the Wednesday or the Thursday? I forget, but it's critical.)

I think tonight was the first night it didn't appear this week. Usually...doesn't it pop up between the first interview and the midweek report to give Claudia time to move across the studio?

2 have been loathsome, surely that should be four.

No, you're right of course, it is JS's fault. If he hadn't have flounced off to the sound of many trumpets we would not have had this problem. But then we would probably have had JS still!

Now we have 3 good couples in the final - what problem?

I may be wrong, but I thought Craig gave Gary the 1, not John. The lowest score he ever gave John was 3.

Hell... I can't remember if Len pickled his walnuts on Monday or Tuesday this week? It was deliberately timed to throw attention attention away from the scoring fiasco... I was that busy attending to the detail of the recipe that I almost forgot there was a crisis!

I stand corrected. Sorry, people.

He pickled them both days - we had a special edition because Claudia can't walk and talk at the same time.

How can you speak that way about Ask Len? Where else on TV do you get the recipe for pickled walnuts?

Very true... if you watch ITT VERY carefully you can actually see where the editors have combined Claud' in animated mode (even whilst seated) and also talking almost seemlessly... media software technology is amazing! I seriously don't think Len is to blame...

He mucks about with the technology though. Throws a switch backstage, the animation/sitting combination goes astray and they need to find a clip quickly - hence Ask Len.

I WOULD BEG TO DIFFER!

I have analysed sequences between Claud' finishing speaking and moving, and the phase-in of 'Ask Len', a single frame at a time and can verify that Len is innocent. My own humble opinion is that Len is actually incapable of manipulating the complex techology... In fact, my own analysis seems to indicate that Bruno may be the culprit, it's just a gut instinct. He gets away with murder! If there is a reshuffle of the judges next season I really do hope that John Sargeant is acknowledged as the person to blame for all this kerfuffle! This is beacuse Lisa is allegedly a woman hater! Need anyone say more?

I would've thought Craig would do it TBH - you know how spiteful he gets. Or maybe Tom, so there's less time for critics to study the dancing...perhaps Rachel's robotic arm malfunctions every night and accidentally presses the button.

This series of Strictly has contained some real horrible specimens.
