REASONS
The judges no longer have the final word on who goes out.
The dance-off is gone forever.
The boring padded recorded Sunday night show is gone.
As there is a 90 - 120 minutes gap between the two shows - the BBC can record professional dances for a Sunday night show if they really want to have a Sunday audience.
But real SCD fans want to decided who goes - and want to know immediatley - not 24 hours later.
One tweak I would make is that there can no longer be any ties on the judges scores - the head judge (Len or whomever replaces him next year) must decide the order if two or more couples are tied.
