Online mobile suppliers
Hi there,
I'm thinking of getting the HTC HD mobile phone soon, but at the moment it's only out on Orange. I was wondering if anybody had used any of the following companies and how they found them (such as getting a faulty phone replaced, problems with phone not working with network etc)? http://www.directmobilephones.com http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk http://www.mobiles.co.uk Just that these type of people are the only ones that sell an un-branded HTC HD at the moment on either Vodafone or O2 (I'm just worried, as I have always bought my mobiles over the phone direct from Vodafone + in mobile phone shops such as Car Phone Warehouse etc). I don't really want to get it on Orange, as their reception is not too good where I live + also there unlimited internet is capped at 250mb/month (madness). Vodafones is a lot higher at 500mb/month, so I don't think I'll ever get to that. O2 would be best for me though. Cheers, Mark. |

I would say purchase on a Credit Card. You never know how secure these companies are in the current economic climate.

The third link you mention (mobiles.co.uk) is part of the carphone warehouse. They also use the web addresses e2save.com and onestopphoneshop.co.uk
Outside of the CPW online sites, I would be wary of using other sites. |

Thanks for the replies.
I might have to see if the Car Phone Warehouse might actually start selling this mobile on Vodafone or O2. Cheers, Mark. |
