So, who is the current best example of "Thinking man's crumpet" on television in 2008?

(Those who want to are welcome to post whomever they consider the thinking woman's crumpet).

TV Chef & Business woman Ching-He Huang. She's a total babe

Prof. Kathy Sykes has a nice smile. Haven't seen much of her lately but she used to do some OU stuff on BBC2.

Oh yes. And not forgetting Balderdash & Piffle and late night poker.

And I'm still devastated that Jenny Scott left the Daily Politics.

I knew Kathy while at university. She was even more lovely back then.

Oh, and while we are talking about academic telly talent, Dr Alice Roberts of course.

Jenny Scott definitely made politics more bearable. Good call 'Lostfool', she is really attractive and has the personality to match.

Wonder where I can catch her now? Anyone got any ideas?

You can see her on BBC parliament when Mervin King is giving evidence to a select committee. She's in the background (as she's his Communications Director now).

I'm not a stalker really. Oh no...

I agree. She was a great loss to the Daily Politics.

Kathy Sykes did a series about a year ago. I forget what it was about now, maybe psychology, but she was SO HOT!!! (but she did seem to know it!).

My own nomination would be Lauren Laverne from The Culture Show, absolutely gorgeous.
