New house... who's phone line? Please help.
Hiya,
we are moving house the first week of Jan. We rang bt and asked them to connect the phone line so we can get sky in. They say the phone line isnt with them, its a council property and we dont know who lived there before plus there isnt any type of box inside the house to connect to. We rang talk talk to find out if its with them but they said they couldnt tell us due to the data protection act. What are we to do? we cant afford to pull out £100+ for bt to change the line back to them. Are we scuppered? Thanks for any replies. |

if your planning on going with sky, i think they are doing an offer where they give you the money back for the installation of your phone line. not 100% if they are still doing it. i'm sure heinz will pop by and verify wether they are.
