She'll be 38 next month, which makes her a lot nearer 40 than 18, hence my comment.

Nothing wrong with someone being exuberant and excitable.

No, absolutely nothing at all. But there's a lot wrong with a grown woman being simpering and gushy.

I felt a similar nebulous dislike for Austin but really didn't know why. There was nothing I could put my finger on - I just found something about him unpleasant. But the truth is I have never met Austin Healy and am in no position to make reliable judgements about him. There could be any number of reasons for my feeling uneasy about him. He could remind me subconsciously of some little playground bully from infant school. Whatever it is, it's not his fault, and it's not Lisa's fault, or Rachel's fault, that some people who don't even know them somehow feel they are qualified to pronounce on their personality or lack of it, based on entirely subjective evidence such as a few facial expressions on a television screen. I wish people would try to consider their responses and remember these are flesh and blood human beings who may be quite undeservedly hurt by comments on forums.

I hope you find something helpful in this response, OP, it's not intended to be a criticism of you or your post. It's my reaction to posts I've read on here over the weeks, as well as comments from people I know personally, that just leave me unable to believe anyone can be so spiteful to people they don't even know.

By the way, Merry Christmas, everyone!

Agreed. Like I said before I haven't made any judgements about Lisa , I don't know her - I just don't like her and can't help that.

I know what it is - it's the fact that she's successful with amazing legs, confidence, charisma & went out with George Clooney...

I think Lisa has been absolutely delightful all the way through. I'd never heard of her before, but she seems totally genuine and professional to me.

Amen.

I felt the same way about Austin, actually, but never felt the need to start a negative thread, or make a negative comment about him at all.

And Merry Christmas to you, too!

Lisa has had an uphill struggle. Whatever she is truly like her face shows a girl with a hard core. Being paired with Brandan - who has shown his real side yet again this year - has been another difficulty for her. Now the judges have added more with overmarking her. I think that may finally be the nail in the coffin.

Rachel had far lessto worry about. She is just dull with a limited vocabularly which drives me mad! Otherwise though, she had little to overcome. Her latin undermarking compared to Lisas may well be her saving grace.

I actually don't find Clooney all that.

I realise that makes me a freak of nature...

Me neither. I feel the same about Brad Pitt.

But millions of women appear to disagree...

She's ok but doesn't quite have the charm of Rachel. Can see why she was with someone like George Clooney for 5 years.

5 years? really? I presumed it was 2 weeks or something.

I've just realised .. it's the botox .. she just can't convey emotion, and the public realise it, which is why I (and they) don't relate to her as much as others.
