Help required with putting music on Sandisk Sansa Clip
Hope someone can enlighten me....I am trying to put some music on my newly acquired aforementioned player, and on my pc, I have compiled my own albums such as fast music, slow music, soul, easy listening etc etc, but when I transfer them on to the player, they are all jumbled up. I want them to be on the player in the order I put them together, has anybody got any ideas.
I have tried dragging, cutting & pasting, synchronising with Media player, but they still all mix up Last edited by geniejean : 20-12-2008 at 15:19. Reason: extra info added |

Thanks, I have had a look at Sandisks help page but still didn't find much to help me out. So frustrating, I didn't have a problem with previous player, but unfortunately, I let my son borrow it.....and he promptly lost it! Hopefully somebody might be able to help
, but this posting sounds like it might be what you are looking for.Hope so anyway! ![]() http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/boar...id=27128#M8637 |

I'm having a similar problem. I bought a Clip and can't sort out how to transfer music.
All the music on my computer is arranged in folders named as the album. If I drag and drop the folders into the Music folder on the Clip, when I unplug the USB cable, the clip display says 'updating database'. However, when I try to play the music, it only shows one album called 'Unknown', and all the tracks are in this album. How can I get it to display the folder names and allow me to select the track that I want? 8Gb of music is a lot of tracks to scroll through to find the one I want. John. |

Odd. My mum bought one and even she's able to just drag and drop albums which show up with album titles in the menu. You transferring them via WMP or drag n drop?
