I didn't see but good to hear he got a cheer.
I watched a repeat of last night's recap of the past 16 weeks on 'It Takes Two' and they gave him less than 5 seconds.

It was delightful, and it was lovely he got that big cheer. Getting to see John dance again was the highlight of the finale.
Here we go again! Why don't you let the water go under the bridge and move on? Not all of us liked John Sargeant. In fact, I used to like him until this fiasco.

I still don't dislike him as a person, but I just don't want to see anywhere near a dance floor ever again!

The Sergeant Army marches on!!! Some of us adored him and his performances were the highlight of the year. Heck, there are appreciation threads on here from YEARS ago, so what is the problem? I would rather talk about him than Pointlessly Beautiful Matt or Ballroom Bill.

He's a desperate, limelight hogging saddo who wasted our time with his clodhopping. If I never see him on a dancefloor again it will be too soon.

I could quite easily! I never talk about PB Matt or BB but Gethin - now there's someone worth talking about!
What has annoyed me is that some people from the SCD boards on the BBC have come over and highjacked this forum.

What a nasty debut post
Poor old dear John, Camilla has vindicated you at last, she has quit the show because of the judges cruelty as well, she actually wants to come back as a judge next year.
The John Sergeant controversy reached a graceful ending in the Farewell Waltz met by a standing ovation. All parties have since moved on, heading in new directions in the New Year. The judges will no doubt get what is coming to them.
John debates have been conducted a thousand times here with such rancour and bitterness as to give one the shudders, such nastiness that many have been afraid to click open threads in this feelgood forum.
There are two opposite camps and they are not going to agreee. There is no point newcomers reopening old wounds and hurting this forum some more.
