My point is, I've seen a lot of posts saying what Austin might have been like in the final, especially his showdance. But it's so hit and miss - who'd have thought Austin's American Smooth would have been so mediocre, or that Tom would have danced so badly in the semis? Austin was popular with the public and danced some dances well, and others not so well. His showdance may have been good, it may have been awful. Who'd have thought Colin or Lisa's would end up the way they did?

meh, fair point. also i guess the showdances are usually amazing or terrible..
would not call austin's AS mediocre though !
