I have to admit to loving Alesha's as well but Tom and Camilla's was an utter delight from start to finish. Very well done to them

Sorry no. It was fun and brought a smile, but Rachel and Vincent's was superior in almost every department. Not forgetting memorable dances from the past, Denise and Ian, Jill and Darren, Zoe and Ian, Colin and Erin. I won't go on.

Rachel and Vincents was NOTHING compared to Tom and Camillas Even hardcore Rachel fans admit that Tom's is better!

Some Rachel fans found it more entertaining - I did not. This is a forum, and I am allowed to express an opinion, tiresome though you may find it.

Try to respect another's point of view without the need to post patronising smileys.

Yes, it was very entertaining, its just a shame they couldnt match it for real in the competition for the last two weeks. Yet they still win............

Nah, I just rewatched them, and it's Rachel and Vincent's that make me smile and smile, (tho it's partly due to the whole Fame thing which is so infectious, and I just LOVE Vincent and the way he looks at his partners like he totally adores them - no cheesy grins from him! He reminds of one of the dancers at the Royal Ballet in that respect!)

Creatively, I do concur Tom and Camilla's was much more interesting and a much braver choice. If we didn't already know Tom was such a fab personality and the whole Fred Astaire thing, it would have been a risk. It was so in tune with his personality and wouldn't have worked for anyone else.

Absolutely brilliant, they were given a completely blank canvas and they made it their own with glamour, comedy, drama and above all their boundless enthusiasm and respective charismas squeezed in to create the perfect end to such a great series. They took their opportunity and made that performance sparkle and turned the whole competition around. I had my doubts, but after that showdance, something which is the ultimate test of talent, ability and partnership, I think Tom and Camilla deserved to win tonight as they came through and took their final performance over and above what has ever been seen on Strictly before. At the start of the show tonight they were the underdogs and the ones who would've left a slightly bitter wake if they'd won at that point. At the end they blew the whole thing apart and there really was no competition after that last dance. Tom had a aspiration to dance like Fred Astaire; Camilla wished to win the competition and they both acheived over and above what they had dreamed of. That's what Strictly's all about.

As I said in the other thread, it has just overtaken Zoe and Ian's showdance as my favourite - It was a great showcase of Tom, fantastic choreography by Camilla and probably about the only stand-out dance I can think of from this series.

I do applaud Brendan and Lisa for attempting a "proper" showdance (complete with that "rolling up the body" move that they like to do), and Vincent and Rachel's was technically complex and well performed, if a little uninspiring.

Rachel and Vincent's was a bit too sleazy IMO

I preferred Tom's as it was more fun and what SCD is all about

I apologise if i caused offence to you, but here on these forums we dont just agree with what other people say as we all have opinions. You disagreed about what i said, that it made me cry as you said it made you smile.

And as i didnt agree with what you said i expressed my feelings

Totally agree. Definitely the best ever.

When I first saw what they wear I was a bit worried, I thought "No, don't make that mistake that Erin did, do a proper show dance please." Then I was totally amazed by the everything of the show dance. That's definitely the most entertaining showdance ever, and the most important thing is, it does has dancing and not just lifting.

Well done and well-deserved.

One of the best I think. Not as slick & sophisticated as Matt & Flavia's routine or as explosive & intense as Alesha & Matthew's routine from last year, but a great example of comic narrative dancing and the sort of thing that Camilla (bless her) excels at (i.e. her tango with James Vincent).

It's much closer to what I think the show dance should be (Brendan was daft to attempt hard lifts with Lisa; if you can't make it look good [Austin & Erin's lift was spectacular], then don't do it), and close to what I think Colin & Erin should have done.

Tom & Camilla's showdance was fab but not the best dance ever. IMO it wasn't even the best dance of this series. That would have to be Rachel & Vincent's AT for me.

In terms of best show dance I think I still prefer Alesha & Matthew's.

The best showdance ever absolutely. All the speculation last week about Tom winning and it leaving a bitter taste and reflecting badly on SCD6 has been eradicated. And both Tom and Camilla acheived their dreams. A Strictly Happy Ending.

Damn good showdance gotta say. Really glad he pulled it out of the bag as it made him a creditable winner. ( He was going to win anyway) Hats off for T&C - but ALSO for R&V who also did a great job too.

Always liked Tom - loved his showdance.

Love R&V and will remember their fabulous dances this series for ever.

Wasn't too keen on it - overly cutesy, I felt - but I would concur it was the best danced of the three.
