Was out last night, and came back at around 9.30pm so was able to watch the final half of the results show live.

Settled back this morning to watch the first half and the previous show, only to find that the results show didnt record and said it was a technical fault. The first Strictly and the programme after the results recorded fine but this one didnt.

Anyone else had the same problem with their Sky+? I feel like crying... (Even though I know its not the end of the world...)

I am sure it will be on BBC IPlayer so don't panic!

Mine stopped just short of the trophy being picked up, as both SCDs overran last night... was annoyed at that as I wanted to put it all on dvd!

Virgin+ didn't record it properly either. As everything over-ran, it was all over the place.

It was probably the judges fault. They "fixed" it with Sky so you wouldn't have to witness them trying to "stitch" up the result and "bully" the contestants.

I don't have sky just freeview, I always set the timer to record strictly so I can fast forward all the chit chat but whilst I was watching another channel I to had an error message that strictly results could not be recorded but was able to manually record it. Strange

Mine rebooted itself. I was squealing I can tell you. What a time to go off!
And it was running late so I've not got anything that was shown after Brian and Kristina. Not happy

My Sky+ recorded both shows (and Harry Hill!) without any problems. Get your box checked - mine broke down 3 days before Christmas last year, and it was a nightmare getting Sky to replace it in time

mine was fine although it did only part record but that was due to lack of disk space! thankfully it only cut off at the very end!

my sky+ failed to record the final too though it recorded the earlier show and there was no problem with availability of disk space

Reading all your posts, I can't believe how lucky I have been!!

My Sky HD box recorded everything brilliantly, I have just watched it.

I was asked to record the show for a relative and my DVD recorder also recorded (from Freeview) but only up to the point where the winners were presented with the trophy.

I have now copied the DVD and would be happy to send it to anyone prepared to take a chance that it will play on their DVD player. It is, at the moment, playing on mine.
