Don't knock her ability. She and Gethin got to the semi's last year and really should have been in the final. This year she wins with Tom. These sort of results aren't just luck.

Have to say she reminded me of Karen when she won, she made it all about herself.

Aren't you lovely?

I'm sooooooooooo pleased Camilla won, she really deserved it and actually i've preffered Tom to any of the other celebs this series.

I thought they both danced amazingly well all series, and imo Camilla's routines were wonderful to watch! I actually have loved every single dance of theirs, perhaps their rhumba slightly less but i still REALLY enjoyed it.

To those slating her appearance, the woman's GORGEOUS! Full Stop.

And i love her enthusiasm for dancing! She's not "manic" at all, she's enthusiastic and i think it makes her more enjoyable to watch

Best female pro by a long shot! Have loved her since series 1!

Am so chuffed for her!

if it was strictlly (lol) a dance contest then why have celebs with no dance training in it?”

Because the whole point of the show is for celebrities (who cannot ballroom dance) to be paired with a professional dancer. They will be coached and developed over the weeks to then be able to perform different dances. They are judged on their performance, effort and progress.

As per my previous post. It's about celebrities being coached and developed into ballroom dancers.

I did wonder if the costume people have got a grudge against camilla, her dresses have never been as nice as some of the others.
As for that show dance cozzie, it was awful, esp compared with Rachel's sexy number.

Camilla uses her own dresses, as does Erin. Both have them made by DSI.

Camilla's costume was perfect for the dance; the flares emphasised the spins and push me pull you reversals and other changes in direction and tempo.

It was a not a sexy dance, so it didn't need a sexy costume (good grief!); I thought the harlequin waistband was terrific.

Why are so many people hostile towards Camilla?

I think she seems perfectly nice, and I really liked the outfit she wore in the show-dance - no, not sexy, it wasn't meant to be, but I thought she looked very pretty in it. And I was pleased to see her look so happy when she and Tom won!

Camilla's outfit was appropriate for the dance she and Tom were doing. I hadn't really taken to her in previous series, but I've changed my mind recently and have grown to like her.

I think Camilla is the weakest of the Pros and when i saw things wrong in Toms dances it was normally her that flagged them up.

Effort and progress are different from performance though, pro dance competitions are not marked on effort or progress are they?

And we all know certain celebs have pro dance training while others do not, so there is a handicap element by marking up effort and allowing a public vote

Try airing a full on pro dance show, see the real marks, the real attitudes, and see how many people watch it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you were the one trying to point out that Striclty Come Dancing is not a dance competition.

My point is, why watch it week on week when the person who will win in the end is the most popular contestant appearing on the show???? The winner should be the person who dances the best, and has been trained brilliantly by their profesional partner.

IMO Tom was not the best dancer and the reason him and Camilla won was purely because he was more popular than Lisa and Rachel. Had Camilla been paired with any of the other male contestants would she have lifted the trophy last night??? I personally feel she wouldn;t have.

She didn't really get her hands on it... Tom hogged it

I think they won it after their amazing show dance, but their other dances weren't that great..

I did wonder about her costume til the music started, but it was just right for the showdance.

Leave Camilla alone.”

Probably none of us will ever meet the professional dancers, but we ARE entitled to comment about them. I think your post is unnecessarily harsh on a new poster

I have met Camilla twice. She is a lovely person and was a genuine pleasure to meet as was Ian Waite who I also met. I am not a fan of Tom as I didnt think he was the best dancer, but I am happy that Cam finally got her trophy. I just wish it had been with Gethin and not Tom but there you go thats the way it goes.

I really like Camilla. She and Tom were my favourite couple and I'm really pleased they won. The emotion on both of their faces was wonderful. I always think she looks gorgeous, and I don't think there's anything wrong with her hair, it never looks messy to me.

I think they deserved to win last night. Normally, I'm not a great fan of Camilla's choreography (that's to do with personal taste), but I think she comes across really lovely when interviewed.

Last night, their show dance was brilliantly choreographed and played to all of Tom's strengths, and showcased him perfectly. Although I voted for Rachel and Vincent, I wasn't upset that Tom and Camilla won.

For some reason, Camilla does seem to polarize opinion.

I was pleased that she won with Tom, I thought the show dance was a triumph and was richly rewarded.

I can't bear her outfits though. There's nowt to her - she's like a glass of water dressed up, so it's extraordinary that she manages to find clothes that suggest non-existent problems. Those satin pants made her look as though she had a pot belly - and she really does not!

I also felt quite sorry for her at the end of the final. I thought it was pretty crass of Tom and Clare to take over the final moments of the show. Every other pro winner has had their moment in the sunshine (as it were) with their celeb celebrating the win between the two of them. I didn't vote for Tom and Clare; I wanted to see Tom and Camilla.

I'm happy for Camilla and Brendan. Camilla finally won and Brendan has found his love to settle down. Double happiness

I've always really liked Camilla and think she is a lovely woman.

So thrilled for her and she certainly deserved her moment of glory.

And her choreography for that memorable showdance was truly fantastic.

Well done Camilla.

Difference was Tom wanted it to be about Camilla. He was happy for it to be about her. His dream was to dance like Fred and he did. Camilla#s dream was the glitterball. Its called team work.

I agree - if she wore a sexy outfit people will say she outshone Tom.

It was appropriate foer the comedy routine and I liked the messed up look by the end. Shes justr been thrown 360 degrees and up in the air a few times of course her hair will be a mess!!!
