Sony Ericcson W890i Fault on Ringtone

I have a W890i
The fault i have is that when receiving incoming calls i cannot get the phone to ring or make any noise only vibrate. I have done a reset and been through all the menu disabling any silent alerts etc but still cannot get it to ring. It will play music fine and make calls fine but when i receive a call it make no noise at all and on screen it displays the caller id and says speaker on. If i press speaker on button it makes no difference.
It also does not play any message tone.
Any help or advice please!!!
