I'm not sure I'd say Flavia over either Lilia, Karen or Kristina. It's horrible to go out first and she did have Jimmy as well, so I'd like to see her have a decent partner. But Lilia and Karen have both had duds two years running (apologies to their partners, some of whom were lovely, but they were all in the 'never going to get very far' category). Flavia had Matt in SCD5, so she's had it more recently then they have, and Kristina has only ever had a dud.

No but it would be nice to see him last a few weeks with someone like Cherie did with James this year, and to see some lovely ballroom dances from him.

I had high hopes for Cherie after her Rumba. My neighbour was practically dancing down the street after he'd seen that dance.

I really do love Anton's Ballroom dances, and before the partnerships had been announced, I was desperate for Cherie to be partnered with Anton! Imagine the Ballroom dances ...

Well, actually, Ramps is the only decent partner she's had in four series, so, while I don't like her behaviour or her choreography, I suppose she does deserve another shot at someone not rubbish.

Before the couples were announced, I did think that Lilia would get a potential to say sorry to her for last year. On the other hand, she was proably paired with Don because he is such a lovely gentleman.

I bet Camilla and Mathew gets duds but gets through a few weeks with relatively good ballrooms. You heard it hear first.

I think someone with a good partner will go out early cos they are unlikeable *cough Gaby Logan Cough*

I'm not claiming to be objective Its just my slight personal preference.

Kristina is another I'd like to see have a good one, she will get one though.

So basically I would like to see all four of them have good partners. I hope generally they have better male contestants this year.

I loved Patsy she was my favourite that year but i agree about the latin dances Anton choreographed. Unfortunately i do think that was part of her downfall.
I wouldnt mind Ian doing well. He did have a good partner in Zoe (who i also loved) but for whatever reason the public never quite got behind her. Its a shame Jodie didnt have Zoes technique as she has a lovely personality and easily could have won if she was technically just a bit better.
I do however still stand by the fact that Lilia more then anyone deserves a good 'un its not that i want her to win again i just absolutely adore her routines. I mean can you imagine if she'd done a tango routine similar to the one she had with Don with say Austin. It would have been amazing!

Turning it round i do think camilla has been the most lucky pro ever. On paper gethin, James and Tom were always going to be great. I'll be very suprised if shes given another good looking young partner again.

Nor am I, if it comes to it! I'm pretty open that Lilia is my favourite pro, and I think she's due another chance at the final! But if it's possible I'd like to see all three get good partners this year.

The other thing I am kind of thinking is I'd like to see Kristina, Flavia and Lilia all have decent partners, but the chances of the Beeb finding three male contenders under 5'10'' are so slim, that one of them is going to be unlucky! So I would rank them very firmly as

1. Kristina- most deserving after the JS debacle
2. Lilia
3. Flavia

Although maybe we will be lucky and Richard Hammond, Mark Owen and Gino d'Acampo will all be available!

Who knows what the BBC will do. To them its about teaming them up based on sex appeal, possible romance, possible conflict more then anything else.

I loved Don. I was so sad he went out when he really shouldn't have (if you look at his dancing). Such a nice man.

Didn't see him for days, he buried himself in SG1 box sets.
Though I do love O'Niell (sp) myself.

I don't think Anton will be on the next series, but of those who I think will be on it:

Kristina - would love to see her with a young Matt DiAngelo type
Brian - didn't see nearly enough of him this year
Lilia - It's high time she had a young hottie
Flavia - 1 decent partner out of 3 so by rights she should have a good un next
Karen - hope she comes back and they give her someone decent

Those who should get flops:
Camilla - she hasn't been out early on since series 1 with David Dickenson
Brendan - he's had 2 great partners in a row
Matthew - he's had a good run for 2 years on the trot as well

I think its because the BBC saw Camilla and James had mass press appeal and then gave her Ray who never got anywhere. I think Gethin was a bit lucky as he wan't that good at teh start but got better. It was all about the girls in early series 5.

Tom she was lucky to get I expected her to get Andrew or Mark but I guess Ola is rubbish and the new girls both got duds like all new pros do so there you hav eit!

Ooh, good line-up! We can only hope

Re: Camilla's partners, Ray Fearon and Roger Black were good bets on paper as well - good-looking actor and good-looking sportsman - so really it's only David 'cheaper than chips' Dickinson who lets the side down for her.

I hope your right

If I'm honest and was being objective I would still put Flavia above Lilia. If you look at series 3-6 she got to the final twice in four years and has got past the first two weeks in all. This will be Flavia's fourth series and she has gone out twice in the first week (one because Jimmy had to withdraw) and got to the final once.

But hey...I'm hoping and praying all four get goodies (Flav, Lilia and Kristina are my top three favourites ).

I'd say Ray in series 4 was a flop!

Doesn't Richard have a similar career to Quentin Wilson ?

Sorry, but I really can see Richard being another Quentin.
