this is probably not a popular choice but i think had Tess been a contestant on the show rather then the presenter she would have done great with Ian.
She came across really well on her rehearsal VTs when dancing with Anton and her AS wasnt too bad. Shame she wouldnt consider giving her presenting job to someone else next year and taking up dancing for the year.
Alesha is 5'8 or 9 so i think if Penny hadnt been in the series last year Ian would have been paired with her and may have won (although im glad he didnt as i cant imagine Alesha not dancing with Matt).

Considering what she had to work with (an overweight 64 year old man) I think she did a marvellous job, and I'm sure she'd be fantastic with a Ramps/Tom Chambers type.”

Yes, you're right! She did do a fantastic job with John, that's why I like her so much. With the right partnership she could be fantastic.

Don't even think it!!! The BBC have chosen him to partner Kelly in the Christmas Special, so hopefully, next year he'll be getting someone like Kelly!

I hope they don`t go down that route

Well he reached the half way stage though (going out week 6 out of 12)!

Anyway the point is that aside from DD, Camilla has always managed to avoid going out in the first couple of weeks!

What about Fiona Bruce with, Anton? Ian? I think she's quite tall. Not to mention classy and gorgeous.

Hmmm, I'm not going to deny that because she did a great job with Gethin. But I also think she's been very lucky. All fit young males with oodles of potential, except DD!

Flavia, Lilia and Kristina all deserve half decent partners with the ability to get them at least halfway through the series. I hope Flavias front of the queue though.

Oh! Just thought of someone I'd adore to see on Strictly. Drools. But he began as West End. But with Kristina! Ah, big sigh.
Anthony Head. Giles. And it just wanders beautifully into my Buffy pysche. I got bitten years ago and I'll be a Buffyite till I die.

I think Lilia deserves a decent partner next year. I'd also like to see Kristina given a chance. I'm on the fence on this one BUT, I would like to see Ola prove herself as a good teacher.

Hopefully, next year his partner will be more like Christine Bleakley than Kelly Brook.

I would love to see Flavia and Kristina with good partners because we could expect to see some amazing choreography.

S'funny really.
Barring his first, all his partners that have been popular with the public, Brendan has had a problem with ... and vice versa.

I realise there are a certain amount of things that need to be taken into consideration - height-matching, 'storylining' etc - and that you can't guarantee a celeb's ability or otherwise, but who do you think deserves to be partnered with a 'contender' next year?

Vincent and Brendon!!?????

Brian Fortuna.....that is if he comes back!

He definitely deserves a decent partner ( with at least good rhythm) so his choreography doesn't get wasted.

Anton!

Even if his latin isn't as strong (though it isn't as dire as it is often made out to be), he could produce some amazing ballroom dances, and I bet his showdance would be fabulous.

There have been winners who have strong in only one area before (Brendan's ballroom was awful in previous series, as is Karen's on occasion), why not give Anton a chance.

I can't remember Anton doing a latin dance to judge him on it... anyone remember a good example?
