Should there be an "It Take To" results show

So the series has ended and as always I enjoyed it but for me it was just a little to long this time around IMO. I'd forgotten some of the celebs who'd been in it this year.

However, each year after the series has ended I always feel disappointed that there isn't an 'it takes to' winners show with (the always stunning) Claudia. I think it would round off the series nicely and it would be good to hear interviews with the celebs who came 2nd and 3rd.

I am alone in thinking this?

For me

Last year yes.

This year No....I am glad that Tom won but the focus would be probably on the two girls and I have heard every (sorry but dull) thing they have had to say.....and there would probably be far too much Len.

Yes!

Given that I've just turned the tv to BBC2,before realising ITT won't be on,which was followed by a 'what do I do now' moment!lol.

Trying to work out what the title of this thread is supposed to be?
Does the OP mean It takes Two ? If so it would be an idea to look at the thread title before posting it and get it right.

This forum is littered with appalling english and equally appalling grammar.

Strictly Autumn, I so agree with your services. I hope he's back next year.

I'd watch it but I've had enough of them all by now tbh.

Nothing against any of them really but 3 months of 'I'm loving it SO much' and variations is plenty.

Yes and no - I don't think there would be much to say on a post-final ITT show as they could only look back on what happened on Saturday and not look forward to what the couples were preparing for this week.

The whole 'retrospective' is done to death in the ITTs in the week leading up to the final so you couldn't really even do that (and they tend to be slightly mawkish affairs anyway about how much it has all meant to them and how their dance partner is their new friend for life). And no one wants to dissect what went right and wrong with the dancing on Saturday as it would all be rather academic after the show has been won.

But it would be nice to see the couples once more relaxed and talking to Claudia without the pressure of more dancing. In this regard, the final just seems... so final really.

They did after Series three but not since.

Personally, I'd like to see the build up to the final, the backstage gossip etc and generally watch the fianl unfold from the dancers point of view, so I'd be all for a post final ITT and I never get tired of seeing Claudia.

No, hubbie said this too and he wasn't aware there was a big campaign to get a similar ITT post-final show last year too. I think it would have been interesting too and it would have been nice if we'd ITT in the run-up to the first live show too.

I remember the series 3 final ITT was very entertaining. There was some great backstage footage of Darren, Colin and Zoe and it gave every one involved the chance to talk about Muppetgate and Darren's brilliant showdance.

It was the perfect finale to the series. They should bring it back. As I recall SCD series 3 was ITT's first series. I wonder why they 've never done the finale ITT since.
