It was set up by the Mods for 7 days, all polls have a closing date or nobody would bother to vote.

Forget all the above, what I want for SCD7 is a decent Cha-Cha or Rumba song!

I absolutely agree with Camilla:

Speaking about the panel [i.e. the judges], she explained: "I think they should just act as guides to the public, who then have complete control over who goes through to the next round. The British public spend their money and want to know their call makes a difference."
I think the judges shouldn't even give marks anymore, they just demotivate people.

I know I have had one wish but can I please have another. Never to hear the words "John" and "Sargeant" ever again on this forum.

That AnthonyJohn should not be allowed to single-handed restart World War II -- particularly on this thread read by BBC top table in charge of SCD7.

This forum has suffered enough from the last war. Agreed, use of the Ignore List is commended to discerning readers.

A revamp of the judges panel- with the exception of Craig

It would have to be no more dance offs - go back to the public vote.
And move the results show back to saturday like xfactor has.
Firing all the judges except Craig - only fair judge this year in my opinion.
Austin to be given a chance to dance again - like Michael Underwood in Dancing on Ice.

Why? He didn't injure himself like Michael. He just had a bad week at an unfortunate time.

If Austin was allowed back, why not Gethin?

The two I would certainly fire are Len and Arlene- but they wont fore Len- so that means Bruno and Arlene out.

Replace them with Karen Hardy and Camilla Dallerup

why not kate garroway when you think of it like that?
and bill turnbull?

They actually injured themselves, but nobody particulary want to see them back
and im not biased because my faves were gethin and austin (and christine) ....

Goodbye Len and Bruno...possibly Arlene too. I'd like some judges who don't think they're bigger than the show please!

No more dance-off, no more Sunday show and a return to having a max of 12 celebs would be nice too

Having just read that Camilla is leaving Strictly, my new Year wish is that the Blonde bombshell will still be in the series next year.

I've a notion that the thinking is:

There was supposed to be 4 in the semi final and 3 in the final so that the calamitous arithmetical blip couldn't happen. On hindsight (for the producers but not for the GBP ) the 'shuffle up' should have occurred the week 'he who must not be mentioned' walked but Jodie was still eliminated (Week 10).

Having week 10 elimination free, even having the couples eliminated in the same order in the following weeks, it would have meant 4 in the semi final including Austin and there would have been no debacle tainting the final.
It would have meant losing the revenue (if any) or the stats from the phone votes but the BBC would have been saved having to refund calls for the 2nd time in a series.

Although I feel for Gethin too, lessons should have at least been learned a whole year later.

I suspect Larkenn feels Austin in particular was 'robbed' of a chance at the final as I do, but the whole series from week 10 to the final was a mess and should have been adjusted accordingly the minute the producers knew about the walk out.

So ... my wish is for a contingency plan in the event of a withdrawal and no dance offs from the start of 2 dances per week (a cheeky wee extra wish )

Get rid of Tess Daly. She ruins the show for me with her stupid pronunciation of 'coople' and the fact it looks like she has to try soooooooooooo hard to be nice and comes across as false.
Also, I do like Len Goodman per se, but I don't like the way he gives ridiculously high marks ALL the time......Bruno seems to be going the same way too. It should be really rare that people are getting 9s and 10s but lately it seems to be all too frequent

I am from Stockport and most people I know most certainly do not speak like that - hence why it annoys me so much. Especially seeing as she doesn't have a particularly strong accent apart from that stupid exaggerated sound.

well, having seen Christina up close last night with Matt, I'd be asking for her and Brian to come back this year but with 'quick' partners. They could work wonders with celebs that can match their speed. Just like Jill did with Darren and 'that' jive.
BTW - Julian Clary was hilarious last night!
