Sky Multiroom & VoIP

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

I live about 500yds from a '3' mast. I would like to go onto their mobile broadband service as I am already a phone customer.

Is there any way to use wireless dongles or whatever the correct terminology is to allow my multiroom Sky+ boxes to phone home over the 3 mobile broadband network.

The obvious reason behind this is to reduce costs and get rid of my landline which i never use for incoming or outgoing calls.

Much appreciated answers welcome!

Sky boxes connecting over VoIP via standard fixed broadband is just about possible - tricky to get it working.

Over mobile broadband - in my opinion - no chance.

VoIP over mobile broadband is usually awful for voice calls - data has very little chance of working.

Looks like you're stuck with a landline if you have multiroom
