Sonata Arctica?

Stupid Question, but are there any Finnish metal bands that actually sing in Finnish? Because all the ones I've heard sing completely in English.

Finntroll do not sing in English, but they sing in a dialect of Swedish (rather than Finnish). Fenno-Swedes are an interesting part of Finnish culture though.

I like these ones. Children of Bodom mainly for their hilarious cover of Oops! I Did It Again!

I've absolutely fallen in love with the 69 eyes, i recognized a couple of tracks from things such as viva la bam but they are a truly wonderful band and i've also been a huge fan of HIM since i was 12 so i highly recommend that anyone who has not given bands from scandinavia a try should seriously give it a try you'll be very pleasantly surprised

hmm I don't agree. But it all depends on what is your musical taste. In Finland there are tons of power-metal, melodic death metal bands and personally I don't like this kind of stuff. However they have one fantastic band Tenhi

I prefer Norwegian or Swedish scene for example:
From Norway - Madrugada, Ulver, Arcturus, Satiricon, Immortal, In The Woods, Green Carnation, Mayhem, Emperor, Limbonic Art, Naervaer ...
From Sweden - Opeth, Meshuggah, Bathory, Pain of Salvation, Anekdoten, Tiamat

I just don't like this epic and overwhelming pathos in some of Finnish bands.
Beside I think that Norwegian and Swedish bands that I mentioned are more experimental and original.
