Some of the posts I have read on this and the BBC forum have had me in stitches this past couple of days since Tom won, I mean you would think it was the end of the world or something!! Anyway the following made me chuckle, it's a reply to a disgruntled ex SCD watcher appalled that it was all a fix and the wrong person won:-

Here here, OK, it's Rant Time. Why people think they deserve a .single .penny. back in refunds for the so called 'voting scandal' the other week is beyond me, lets just make this extra clear, ALL THREE CONTESTANTS made it to the final, so that means that no votes were wasted since, once again, whichever one you voted for WENT THROUGH TO THE FINAL. So you did .not. waste your vote. Ahh, rant over, if feel better now.

Whoever said that Rachel's suspected back injury was some cynical ploy to get the sympathy vote deserves to be put in the stocks and pelted with the contents of Len's laundry basket (the baying mob will all be wearing suitable protective clothing of course)
