Was I the only one to noticed, how untidy and scruffy Camilla Dallerup's hair was in the dance final on Saturday night, she looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backward. Lisa and Rachel, were so groomed, and perfect looking, it was jaw dropping to see how rough Camilla looked.. then there was the roots.. crikey, i'm not even going to go there..

unfortunately, every image of the winners, is tarnished by Camilla's very Bad Hair day... lol lol lol

Is there a smiley with a tin hat ?? I think you might need it.

Why Jan? it's obviously tongue in cheek If Camilla looked 'rough' I only wish there were more 'rough' looking women like that in my street

My daughter and I agreed that we liked Camilla with her 'natural' hair down look.

definately.... rough looking... but, it was probably highlighted more, by the extreme grooming on the other two female dancers.. I was just shocked, because everyone else was all shiny polished looking, and she left me feeling disappointed.. screamed of, no effort....

I know what I mean.. lol lol lol

Please recommend a hairspray which will keep hair in place after Camilla was turned head over heels 360 degrees in the air.

To be serious (sorry), I think she has very fine hair.
Even the old Elnett won't tame it.
Her hair's always making a bid for freedom.
Rather like Camilla herself - always whirling out of control.

Btw - she's my favourite.

She looked natural, vibrant...in tune with a silent movie heroine which was the point of the brilliant showdance.

Im not sure it was tongue in cheek Stu but as one of her biggest fans if you are not upset then I shant be either. I am still laughing about the cow pat joke from Geths Foxtrot on the non-appreciation thread, its ruined that dance for me now as I titter about the hair.

I must admit I thought it looked very scruffy as well. But it often does.

A few stray ends is one thing.
Losing your entire (an exaggeration, I know) scalp on the floor in a dance-off would be quite another.

I have to say and again this isnt against Lisa as I have nothing against her personally BUT I always felt her hair was a bit OVER dressed if you see what I mean, very smart and tidy etc but a bit too DONE dont know how else to say it.

Good for you Bonny! I'm surprised you were so bothered by it you felt the need to start a thread about it, but if you feel that strongly about it you carry on mate

Anything else? The showdance was over-rated perhaps?

Look up some pics of Clara Bow...or Edna Purviance who was Chaplin's heroine in many of his films, they couldn't be described as well groomed honestly. The temptresses like Garbo yes, but comedy heroines, no.

She sometimes looks like she's been using pomade.

I do think it was meant to be less groomed to go with the style of the showdance - but I do know what you mean, even though I'm not sure a more polished 'do would have worked?

Erin has many new spare parts this year,
losing one won't make a difference.

Exactly - the whole thing was ditsy.

D'you think Lisa was constantly pushing her chicken fillets back in her bra?
Coz she had a bit of a wardrobe problem too.
The Rachbot seemed immune. But I suppose androids are made to be perfect.

I thought the untidy hair went with the slightly comic look for the showdance?

Well i voted her and tom, even though i expected to be voting rachel. Maybe it was the hair that changed my mind

Well it apparently didn't detract from Clara Bow's attractiveness as far as the likes of John Wayne and Gary Cooper were concerned. I'm surprised Clara had time to even comb her hair, let alone have it cut!

Personally I think the judges should deduct a point for unkempt hair (although Tom's very slick hair style might have earned an extra point and cancelled this out).

I did read a biography of Clara years ago...blimey!
