I think I am , especially as I've managed to avoid spoilers. Also the fact that new stories are going to be a rarity for the next 12 months at least , is making my anticipation grow for xmas day.

Yes I am, seemed like forever since the last episode and we only have a handful of eps now to enjoy DT's Doctor

We've got the DVD's to go back over though. Plenty of excitement in the next year with the specials and new series of Torchwood and SJadventures. Not to mention the Moff unveiling the new Doctor and the excitement around the pics of filming for the specials and series 5

Does anyone know what will happen with the specials for dvd releases? Will there be a boxset of the specials?

Yep, same here. Vanilla individual releases like the Christmas ones get, then a glorious boxset with all the extras including David Morrissey's refusal to play Eleven speech, the Paterson Joseph audition tape and 1,000,001 Doctor Who fans say why they're glad Nesbitt didn't get the gig.

i take it you are one of the many people who want Paterson Joseph to take over the role.

I'm easy, although if Nesbitt got it, I would cry!

Hi Amos!

We in the Boogie household are all looking forward to our annual dose of DW after the Turkey! (Even Papaboogie who was very upset after the last episode and vowed never to watch it again! Good job Santa didn't hear and brought him the series 4 boxset anyway!)

I don't know who I want to take over. I loved CE and I loved DT so I'll just have to have faith that I'll love the next guy! (Maybe Papaboogie is free....?)

Merry Christmas to one and all!

Mama xx

Merry Christmas everyone!

I am so excited that it is tomorrow I can't say, I rewatched Stolen Earth and Journey's End last night and now it is only one sleep to The Next Doctor I bet I don't get a better present!

Yes. I've been thoroughly disappointed with all the Christmas specials so far, but this year I have high hopes. It seems we might get a proper story.

It's amazing that no spoilers have got out (yet)...
So I guess I'm looking forward to seeing a story that I know (almost) nothing about

But I have the flu, so I'm not really in the mood to work up any enthusiasm for anything.
*Fingers crossed I'm feeling better tomorrow*

You mean like Harriet Jones is the Head Dalek and Astrid is a living TARDIS?

Excited ???? Me ?????? No...of course not!!!! If I was excited would I be sitting here reading DS while at work, and looking at the clock and realising that it is exactly 24hours left to some TV show that I may watch....and record...and tell everyone in the house that if I hear a peep out of them then they have had it......

Definitely not excited!!!!!!!!

I have to wait until someone puts it on Youtube. Hopefully it'll appear on Boxing Day

I'm looking forward to it but I can't say I'm over-excited
