Ive just found a clip of them peforming I think were alone now on Youtube from series 4 I think? and they have some of the male pro's dancing with them.

All I can say is OMG! I can' believe they made them dance to that! The choreography is pathetic! Its just stupidly easy, even I could master that and Ive not been to a dancing class in over ten years. I think even someone without training could do it its so basic!

I assume the girls 'people' choreographed that? There is no way a professional dancer would surely? Its actually insulting watching it!

i remember watching a girls aloud interview on the paul o'grady show from about 3 years ago and cheryl said she preferred strictly to the x factor
i like her just thought that was slightly ironic..

The hilarity of that Girls Aloud dance can only be fully appreciated by watching Carolcam!

She said it in an interview last year too. She said she was really good friends with Alesha and wanted to do strictly herself one day. Shes totally changed her tune now of course.

But i like her on x factor so am glad shes joined them.

Watching the clip of the routine Brendan does not look best pleased either- even thought he's dancing with Cheryl Cole.

Its like something I was taught in freestlye disco when I was six! Awful!

It's one of those 'it's so disgusting it's good' moments in SCD.

Yeah I remember that. Funny thing is Cheryl has had loads of dance training- she apparently even went to the royal ballet school at one point. So im not sure they would have had her on the show.

I wouldn't be suprised to see one of the other girls on SCD in the future though- I think Nadine wants to do it as well.

It was a hilarious moment watching Matt Cutler demonstrating the dance to Carole Smilie .
A I recall Girls Aloud or their management or whoever , insisted it had to be their own choreography .

I was told that it was co-choreographed by Ian, and most of the pros hated doing it!!! One of them commented on it during one of their shows!!!

He did their dirty dancing thing for their tour I seem to remember him saying, so this would make sense. And the fact he's at the front for once.

I think Ian probably choreogaphed the part where he dances with Camilla- but the rest of it no way! Its dreadful I can't believe any of the pro's would come up with that!

As if we needed another reason to detest Girls Aloud!

One of the pros said that Girls Alouds choreographer told them they could not hear the chacha beat and he was surprised professional dancers could not chacha!!! This was because they danced it as it should be, i.e. 2, 3, 4 and 1 and he wanted the beat to be 1,2, 3 and 4 which is incorrect. I think the pros were a bit annoyed to be told they didn't know how to dance a chacha properly!!!!

Gosh! Thankfully, I don't remember the performance from Girls Aloud.

I recalled the judges were in stiches, especially Bruno! They were laughing AT the male pros.

The part where Ian choreographed was towards the end, when he danced a fantastic pro-level cha-cha with Camilla. Seems to be telling the GA 'choreographer': sock it to you!

The right way to watch it is to first of all view Matt C's comments on carolcam and then view the routine. There are youtube clips for both.

The end result is fabulous. Maybe for all the wrong reasons but nonetheless fabulous. I bet the male pro dancers involved still dine out on this tale.

OMG! Thats incrediably rude! Im sure they knew more about the cha cha cha than their bloody choreographer!

No wonder they were all so annoyed.

I did watch Matthew's rehearsal on CarolCam .

This is a bit off topic, but surely this is a valid reason why the judging panel should comprise of at least another ballroom and latin judge/dancer and not three choreographers as they look for different things when judging a dance.
