9.5 Kelly & Brian - pure entertainment

9.0 Rachel & Vincent - consistent as always

8.5 Alesha & Matthew - nice but low impact

8.0 Jill & Darren - very vibrant but just a bit ugly in places

7.0 Tom & Camilla - very 'them' but, like the showdance, it's not by bag at all

7.0 Lisa & Brendan - not as good as their previous attempts

Tom - 10 Just amazing, and in the spirit of the christmas show, danced for pleasure i think not to win.

Jill - 10 A great dance, so fast and precise.

Lisa - 9 Another fun dance, went for entertainment , she grew on me when not looking desparate to win,

Alesha -8 Didn't do a lot for me, no sparkle to it.

Rachel - 8 Rumba of theirs getting a bit stale when you watch it for the 3rd time,

Kelly - 8 Good fun , but not brilliant

Alesha and Matthew 10 - beautiful dance really loved it. I could watch these two dance all night!

Jill and Darren 9.5 i thought it was great and im glad shes proven to everyone she can do ballroom

Kelly and Brian -9.5
better then i expected very fun dance, i much prefer her with brian then brendan

Rachel and Vincent -9
The rhumba is by far my fav dance by Rachel. Its the one time where ive thought she should have got a 40.

Tom and Camilla 9 - Technically not great but so what it was so much fun. I love the fact Tom never takes himself too seriously! So glad he won on saturday.

Lisa and Brendan 8.5 - Its the only dance tonight i wasnt keen on.

people here are using 0.5 of a point to, for instance, mark the difference between 9.5 and 10 - if the judges had this option, maybe we wouldn't get so many messy ties - they mark out of 6.0 in DOI with 0.5 mark increments, and there has never been trouble there like on SCD.

Kelly - 10 (totally robbed)
Jill - 9 (loved it)

Lisa - 8 (would have been great if they hadn't messed a bit up)
Rachel - 8 (nowhere near as good as previous rumbas)
Tom- 8 (pretty standard performance from him)

Alesha 10 (perfection, shame it went first, such a quiet dance needed to go towards the end, but happy she got the judges recognition - don't suppose being top under the circumstances helped with the studio vote!)

Kelly 9.5 (really enjoyed this and Kelly should get a 10 but really hard to get full marks when professional outdances celebrity)

Tom 9 (partnership produced a perfect Tom/Camilla routine but was outshone by their wonderful showdance on the main show so lost a point)

Jill 9 (she really is an excellent dancer but this dance was too frantic to get higher marks from me - but can understand why she won and delighted for her and Darren)

Lisa 8.5 -so glad they were out to have fun (with a little bit of attitude on the side). For me, you can never go wrong with a quickstep

Rachel 8 (beautiful and one of the best dancers ever but it just didn't do it for me for a Christmas Special, but had the judges and studio audience decided I was wrong, I'd be happy to congratulate her as a winner).

Excellent last SCD show for 2008 - bring on 2009.

Alesha at 80% - 9
Kelly - raised real questions who could dance better in 2007 but the similarity between Jill and Alesha's style/personality suggests alesha would have carried it.
Rachel - not her fault she got another samba, no reason to think she would get less at Alesha or Lisa's dance and at least she managed to do a credible job from the 2008 crop -10

Jill got the best dance to do but did it well -10

Think they should have .5 like in the dancing on ice then Alesha & Matt 9.5, and Tom & Cam 8.5

Jill and Darren - 9 (Jill always delivers - fab!)
Rachel and Vincent - 9 (lacked the intensity of the other rhumba but still great!)
Alesha and Matthew - 9 (beautiful, elegant!)
Lisa and Brendan - 8 (the start and end were very lacking in finesse but they were beautiful in hold)
Tom and Camilla - 7 (the smug look was back - very distracting -but some nice choreography)
Kelly and Brian - 6 (it just didn't work for me despite the fact I LOVE Brian!)
