Personally I preferred Jill's it was just kick ass as always ... Kelly's didn't seem as polished and Brian seemed to outdance Kelly in places..just my opinion

Actually I think it's to her detriment that she's become so synonymous with one dance.

I think Kelly's a more attractive dancer in general. To be blunt that's a partly a physique issue. Jill has great energy but she'll never be the most elegant. That's not to say, however, that Kelly wins in every discipline. She's prone to mistakes...partly because she really does try to pull off a performance. I would put them both definitely in an elite group of Strictly contestants.

In a jive-off, Jill's skills arguably give her the edge. She's not quite the calibre of entertainer that Kelly is but she's very sound indeed...certainly at this type of dance. Kelly's always just that bit more watchable than anyone on this show though...whether she's great, not-so-great or in between.

Not sure it's really fair to compare them. Jill's was more polished as she'd just been dancing for months with Darren, whereas Kelly and Brian (completely new partner) have probably only had a few days.

Considering they'd not been working together long, I enjoyed Kelly's jive... I thought she did well and good choreography from Brian. I probably would have liked her more last year if she'd been paired with someone like him instead of Brenda.

Was Kelly jiving? Sorry, I couldn't take my eyes of Brian, that man can dance.

For me it just has to be Jill's. No comparison IMO.

If there was a comparison to be made for sheer energy and enjoyment it would have to be Jill and Austin. Kelly is not even in the same ballpark.

Yeah you're right. As far as I'm concerned, Jill is still the Queen of the Jive and Austin is King of the Jive with Aled Jones a close second.

Jill was far superior to be fair. I really didn't like Kelly's jive. I thought she did a lot of prancing about while Brian (and it hurts me so much to say this) was really excellent.

Jill is far superior IMO, but I have to say I did really enjoy Kelly's effort too.

Vincent and Louisa Lytton's jive is my all time favourite. Apart from being a staunch Vincent supporter, I thought it was a fantastic pairing and such infectious fun.

Halfpenny wins hands down, half to say I prefer Ramps and Louisa's Christmas jive over Kelly's too.

It's got to be Jill's jive all the way . She just adds such detail and polish to all of her dances that you don't see very often on Strictly and her performance is brilliant.

I have to agree with you, I loved watching Vincent and Louise jive, they are magic together

Kellys wasnt really a proper jive. There wasnt many jive steps in there.

They'd been rehearsing for three weeks before the show.

My favourite jives were by Zoe and Jodie.

Louisa, Jill, Austin, Alesha and Gabby's Jives all eclipse Kelly's offering. She was good, but not that good.

not only that but she did a dance video with Flavia and parts of it had the jive in it.
Shes by far trained the most out of anyone there last night.

yes, at the time it was definately but after seeing Kelly's and Brian's i have to disagree it bare's no comparison what so ever even down to their outfits for start Jill and Darren's were bright cerise and black and their's was dark purple, and there is Brian here's very energetic, full of stamina and boy can he dance

Jill's Jive has achieved legendary status. It's a little foolish to try to compare them. No one's Jive will every manage to beat it. Even if someone does a Jive a million times better, Jill's Jive is so embedded in our consciousness, that it will never ever be bettered.

I preferred Kelly's jive with Brian to the one with Brendan which stuck in my memory as good but a tiny bit lacklustre. I enjoyed their efforts on Thursday.
