Ipod Touch Charging
24601
26-12-2008
I have an Ipod Touch.
I can charge it as usual by connecting it to the computer.
However I can't use my old Ipod charger plugged into the wall.

It says 'charging is not supported with this accessory.'

yeah we had the same problem. I assume this is a 2nd gen touch you bought?
We had to take the charger we bought back to the shop and they said that apple have changed the connections on the 2nd gen. Told us the only thing we could buy would be a plain USB charger.

If its an old ipod wall charger its going to be firewire which the latest ipods do not support an more.
