Am I the only one who was really impressed by Kelly and Brian's Jive.

I thought it was the best dance ever for Christmas Special.

I can't stop watching this dance, it was so entertaining.

I have to be honest, I was never a fan of Kelly's but damn she was amazing with that Jive and huge credit to Brian for putting together such an exciting dance. I guess this something which Series 6 lacked.

Didn't think she was good sorry,but will watch again in case I was too merry first time. lol

I thought Kelly was great last night and seemed to click better with Brian than Brendan for some reason.

She really deserved to come 2nd and was far more enjoyable to watch than Alesia but then Alesia has never lit the floor up for me but was the judges pet last year ... thank heavens they dodnt get their own way this year

I wasn't a huge Kelly fan last year but I also loved her jive and partnership with Brian. I was glad Jill won, but thought the final two were right!

Kelly put in a smashing performance, but it wasn't the best of the night let alone of all the specials put together for me!

Sorry I disagree I loved Alesha and I will always remember her and Mark Ramps as the most exciting celebrities to ever take part in strictly. kelly never did it for me last year but I thought she was fab on the Christmas Special.

i knew this thread would turn into a lets bash Alesha one. So predictable.
I thought Kelly and Brian were great last night but wether you like it or not Alesha won last year and is very popular. Kelly had no chance of beating Gethin, Alesha or Matt last year as she simply was not popular. Just like Lisa this year.

I did really like it but actually felt Brian put a bit too much of himself dancing around her while Kelly kinda had less to do. I really like Brian though but I don't think it showed Kelly off as much as it could have.

You can disagree all you like but Alesia wasn't that good to my eyes and Gethin or Matt were far more emjoyable to watch ... if Kelly hadn't left so early I think Alesia may not have lifted that trophy

I know Kelly Left early last year so she did not have a chance to bulid up a fan base but I think her dancing would have won a lot over but we will never know

But then we all have different tastes and like different styles so there you go we can agree to disagree

Hello Darling <smooch>. The thing is Sid usually the Christmas Special performances I found bland but last night's show was great and I loved Jill and Alesha but somehow after watching it back, Kelly and Brian Jive I can't stop watching it, I loved it.

I was a big fan of Kelly last year.....and took a fair amount of flak on this forum for defending her honour.......but even I would`t say that Kelly`s Jive was the best ever Christmas special Dance.....that said I still loved it.I was a fan of Rachel this year but when you compare the look of enthusiasm on Jill and Kelly`s faces when they hit the dance floor you can begin to understand why some described Rachel as dull.Love or loath her Kelly does light up the floor in a way Rachel could only ever dream of.

Is there any chance that this thread could not disintegrate into the 'Alesha v Kelly v Jill and who would have won what series' debate that seems to be overtaking every thread about the Christmas Special and keep it to being about the Christmas Special?

Tell me about it, it would be rather nice to mention a female celeb without comparison to another.

Just watched again and love the outfits and the energy but thought Kelly's kicks and flicks wer not that good. Brian is a honey though and he can rock round my christmas tree any time .

They are the two winners I never warmed to. Mind you, I do have a problem with Ramps' partner. I might have enjoyed him if he was dancing with someone else.

I enjoyed Kelly and Brian last night, but he was doing a lot of the work.

I love Karen, but it would be boring place if we all like the same people.

Her Jive was good and it deserved its 2nd place but it wasn't the best for me, sorry !

I really enjoyed it - it was my favourite of the night - I didn't think it was quite as good as her jive last year - but then everyone was a bit wild on the Christmas special.

I think she's a fab dancer - much better than many give her credit for on here.

She also probably benefited from the fact that we'd seen Tom, Rachel & Lisa's dances several times previously.

I think I was little too hasty with the "best ever".
