Am I the only one who was really impressed by Kelly and Brian's Jive.
I thought it was the best dance ever for Christmas Special. I can't stop watching this dance, it was so entertaining. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NPKJv_TDZaY I have to be honest, I was never a fan of Kelly's but damn she was amazing with that Jive and huge credit to Brian for putting together such an exciting dance. I guess this something which Series 6 lacked. |

I feel the opposite to be honest, I would not care about his attitude if his choreography was up to standard. But I always questioned Brendan’s taste level with his terrible music choices and choreographies which is over dramatic and extremely tacky.
Can you seriously see anyone any other pro approaching that soon to be infamous “show dance” with the expectation that people would want to see it. Not in million years. The only routines of Brendan’s I liked were the American Smooth he did with Kelly and Lisa’s Viennese Waltz. I also liked his tango with Lisa, but the effect was slightly marred by the music choice. I know it's traditional tango music, but I'm not the only person who immediately thinks of Jack Lemmon in drag, shaking his maracas, every time I hear it. |

My choice for best Christmas Special dance ever was Gethin and Camilla's lovely waltz last year which received 40 points from the judges.

Very straight legs from Kelly, which is why it was so good.

Nope she wouldnt. Rachel was much more likeable and she didnt manage to win. No chance Kelly could beat tom or rachel. Its not all about the dancing as this year proved.

After watching Jill and Darren's Jive from their previous Xmas special, Kelly and Brian's has too similar choreography...

Not the best but so enjoyable. I know the season 6 celebs didn't have much time to prepare an xmas routine on top of everything else, but it was nice to see stuff we hadn't seen before. She does have SO much personality and she gives so much of herself to the audience - I really appreciate that.

![]() ![]() It's not Jill and Darren's "I'm Still Standing" jive which has lots of what are now signature moves. |

My favourite dance from any of the Christmas Specials is Jill and Darren's American Smooth and I prefered Jill and Darren's Jive to 'Rockin around the Christmas Tree' to Kelly and Brian's. I still thought it was good though just not the best ever.

no, don't worry that you are the only one to think that Brian's and Kelly's 'jive' was the best dance of the night in Christmas Special because I did as well, i thought Brian's choreography was absolutely brilliant and that you could see just how hard he'd worked to make it like that, well done Kelly for making it look fantastic for him. they did not let each other down at all which I know Brian would or could never do, he never puts a foot wrong, he's just fab-u-lous but the i'm baised as i am crazy about him anyway |

......I`am not just talking about the Christmas special.....I loved Rachel this year but she just did`t light up the Dance floor like Kelly;Jill or even Alesha......and last night only re-inforced this point.

Kelly and Brian were great on the Christmas Special but I also think Colin and Erin's quickstep was the best ever.
I do freely admit to being biased though as I thought he was the best dancer ever on Strictly and certainly a step ahead of any of the other male celebs. I am still inwardly seething at the fact that he no longer holds the record score for the quickstep. Nobody quicksteps like Colin.

No it wasn't. Alesha and Jill were easily better. Brian completley out danced Kelly.
