ive just been watching past series and started watching louisa again...i had forgotten how good she was! and she really seemed to have a passion for it. i actually had tears rolling down my cheeks when she got eliminated.

i hope she comes back for a xmas special one year....it'd be good to see if shes still got it.

She danced with Vincent on this year's Eurovision Dance Contest. Don't know if it's on youtube anywhere though.

I loved Louisa too, she had such a zest.

There's everything you need to know about the pocket rocket on the Louisa and Vincent appreciation thread (youtubes pics the lot).

Great to see some new Louisa love

Adding to the Louisa love - she was (IS!) wonderful!

she is even prettier in real life than she appears on TV - I met her in the Green Room at Strictly and she is so petite and beautiful - far more than she looks on TV - she is just so lovely.

a real darling. Her partnership with Vincent on Strictly remains one of my favourite partnerships ever on there!

I watched the SCD 2008 tour DVD yesterday - a Christmas present - and Louisa was wonderful.

I was at the tour in Manchester and thought she looked sad and distant for some reason but the DVD was filmed on the last show of the tour in Birmingham and she was back to her bubbly smiley self.

Love the AT she danced but the jive was stunning. Although I liked Vincent and Rachel dancing together I think Louisa was his perfect partner

Everything about her is lovely, including her voice.

I loved Louisa, one of my fav celebs to ever appear on the show and her and Vincent had the most amazing chemistry.
Loved the pair of them together.

I wish Louisa had done the show when she had been slightly older, I think she would have had a better chance of winning. Among the female celebs only Jill Halfpenny is a better latin dancer than Louisa.

thats a bit far there..

Alesha was a much better and a fantastic latin (and ballroom!) dancer than louisa was (and is!) im afraid to say, and would of outdanced her in any dance they did

I don't think Alesha was significantly better than Louisa; she had buckets of oomph and attitude, but (thanks to this forum) I've realised that her footwork and legwork is often really shabby (Jill being the example of how to follow through and finish every move).

I'd rather watch Louisa's Cha Cha instead of several of Alesha's dances.

Why can't people appreciate Louisa or any other female celeb without yet again comparing her with Alesha or Jill? Very flattering for A & J though - as they say it's better to be talked about than not at all

Re Louisa - she was a very good dancer, but I only had eyes for Ramps in series 4 so I don't remember any of her dances

I think she was brilliant. Robbed of a place in the final.

I was so fond of Louisa and was also gutted when she bowed out.

I strongly believe she should have contested the final alongside Ramps. It would have been a far more exciting affair - Matt was outclassed.

I never tire of watching Louisa & Vincent's Jive on Youtube

I thought Louisa's Jive and Paso were better than Alesha's - and I was a fan of both girls.

Yes. I think so too. People were voting for the men obviously, as she was better than Matt Dawson and I also believe than Mark Ramprakash. So much energy and fun and danced technically brilliantly. Her and Vincent were gold together. Silly voters. She should have been in the final.

I agree Louisa absolutely should have been in the final with Mark R. That was before the judges' veto & shows why it's important.

Er no, the judges would have kept Emma in with Mark! They made it clear when Emma and Louisa were the two with the least votes who they preferred.

LOuisa jive is my fav one by a celeb ever, i think its partly because she looked like she was having so much fun.

I loved Louisa and in terms of the ideal final I would have preferred Ramps and Louisa rather than Matt (much as I admired his improvement week after week). But I still think Ramps had a slight edge on Louisa. We'll never know, alas! She was unlucky to be the one caught out in the first ever dance-off: her best dance of the night was unfortunately weaker than Emma's.

Not too coherent tonight as have been mainlining G&Ts all day (and most other days throughout the festive season ) BUT couldn't let a thread devoted to Louisa go without a post - the girl is an absolute sweetheart A delicious, delightful, little dynamo who gave her all and was a power packed and brilliant dancer. She loved Vincent too, so she's perfect in every way Met her once and she didn't disappoint at all - far from it, cos she was smiley, friendly, charming and absolutely gorgeous

PS - Rachel was almost a Louisa - just a little more contained and less effervescent. Aah, Vincent knows how to bring the best out in a woman tho'

It's taken all my mental discipline to manage that post - have had to correct nearly every word for typos Soo, back to the gin ...

Louisa had first class potential which popped out at times but she was a bit young to be that reliable at it - as her marks showed . Emma danced better most of the time but couldn't do 17 year old energy. Both were capable of doing better in the final than Dawson. Louisa would have had the AT in the SF too with Vincent which was a great dance for her . The girls would have provided a better competion too against each other which would have depended on who performed on the night rather than who went in with the male journey story . They could both do both classes of dances well too so we wouldn't have had a can do v can't do or can do v , can't do as well final.

Unreliable? How so? Maybe she was marked more harshly because the judges expected more. Emma was good too, but I couldn't warm to her.
