itouch or...........?

Had a brief play with an itouch over Xmas and was blown away with it. Really like the wi-fi facility but would like to ask a few questions before taking my 'interest' any further. It has the BBC i player facility so you can listen again to some BBC radio programmes but can it receive any other radio stations via wi-fi? Also, I noticed that there was a facility to listen to some podcasts. Is it possible to listen to any podcast? I usually use Juice and listen to podcasts at the computer but htis is a little inflexible. Is it also possible to transfer music from my pc to the itouch or do I have to buy it from itunes? Lastly, is there anything out there that would make a better buy than an itouch? Any suggestions/answers would be much appreciated.

The iPod Touch can now download podcasts over wifi iirc. The itunes store has a load of podcasts available from the bbc for free.

You do need to use itunes to transfer music to it BUT it doesn't need to be bought music from the itunes music store. itunes can import any mp3 music you already have and convert/import wma files.

There are 3rd party programs that can receive bbc streaming radio available on the app store.

Many thanks MrKev - it appears the itouch will do everything that I want. Sounds as if there's nothing out there to touch it.

Me too. Still getting used to to the touch screen though - I keep looking for buttons . It's good though - you can just press everything (except the home button)
