I kind of think the eight months away from it does me good and makes me look forward to the next series more. In the mean time I'll be trying to go to as many dance events as possible and generally trying to have a bit of a life away from the tv. It's all good.

Just read that back, I make it sound like I won't miss it ... I so will. I think the wait does us good though. I love how the excitement builds around August time.

I'll watch DOI, though it depends whether they get some daring celebs to equal the likes of Kyran, Chris Fountain, and Suzanne - if it hadn't been for them, I wouldn't have watched it as I really, really cannot stand the judges! Any of them (but especially Nicky Slater).

And it's the judges decisions and having favourites which spoilt SCD for me this year. Even Craig, who I think is the most genuine generally, seemed to toe the line laid down by the powers that be, to steer who they wanted in the semi's.

All these reality shows have palled now, entirely due to suspicions of rigging or favourable editing. If producers want votes to continue to pour in they have to ensure there is no manipulation of the voting choices available to the public - whether payback for JS voting or not!

Oh and I'll also be watching Lost and 24. I obviously like being bamboozled (and manipulated )

Apart from Weakest link, this saturday nights entertainment was rubbish..

i was so disapointed..

DOI its going to have to be, i just watch it if theres nothing else on..
its a bit boring IMO, and as i have said before, no where near the same league as SCD..

Ohwell, roll on SCD 2009 (and the tour of course )

Unfortunately i think this year was the worst series so far. Too many scandals and the judges are really annoying me now.”

Yep, provides good entertainment for the Winter weeks, but nah I'm not so attached as to spend the next nine months mourning it's annual hibernation or pining away for it's return.

WIll be busy pretending not to be interested in celebrity BB, and catching up with our West Wing marathon - finished series 6 before christmas, now want to get through series 7 before the real inauguration ...must find out when that is!

Oh, and going to get some hobbies, and stop lurking around on here so much. (Ok, so my new hobby might involve lurking on the BB forum instead)

But will miss my dose of pink sparkliness in between Saturdays unremitting diet of football football football
