I've thought that Anton should take over from Bruce for the last couple of years. He's funny and good at ad-libbing and I think the contestants would feel very comfortable with him presenting the show.

Ann definitely has a soft spot for SCD, she's very 'kind' to ALL of the contestants.

Mark Foster may not be able to dance, but he has the BRAIN and the BRAWN. Good for him!

Came across this by accident but really enjoyed it........it had me laughing out loud at times

Anton was very funny as were some of the others (Heather esp) and he's quick with the ad-libbing,i can honestly see the BBC lining him up to take over from Brucie.

Can you imagine if Ann did SCD ?? with Anton!!!!

I also think when you get the SCD lot out on the razz it must be an absolute blast!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the weakest link tonight - huge fun. Brendan was human and funny, Heather was feisty, and I love Anton, and have for years - and he was terrific. Great stuff.

Oh no. I was watching and wondering why I'd missed seeing that face and tan with that greying silver hair and had just decided it had to have been the sequins and string vest wotsit, when he took his shirt off.

Mark's chest does nothing for me ........it's TOO defined and bulked up,i'd rather he kept his shirt ON

Anne was the pervy one and wanted Mark to take his shirt off. When Mark said he'll do it if he's in the finals, and I think Anne on purpose gave Mark Foster the easier question set.

He defo got the easier questions........two with the word "Strictly" in the answer wasn't it ??,one was "Strictly Ballroom",can't remember the other one

Camilla came across quite well until that 'conventional clock' question but then I adore Camilla so it was fine by me While she was the one who remembered to bank the most often, she was responsible for breaking that chain of 15 consecutive correct answers in the earlier rounds so they might have been playing for more if not for her...

Did not read too much into the Kristina thing (it was actually more offensive I thought that Mark R kept on spelling her name with a 'Ch' instead of a 'K'), I thought Camilla was just playing the game and voting for the weakest member which, in most cases, was Kristina.

I hate this show noramlly and I am not a fan of Ms Robinson , however it was a great , fun programme .

Loved the banter and answering back , though the whole show was somewhat spoiled by Mark Foster taking his shirt off again .
He did get pretty straightforward questions right through .

I agree about the shirt-removing. He looks perfectly fine in the actual programme. But well done Mark for winning.

Do you know that's really not a bad idea! I think that would work really well. Plus it would give Anton more experience of a live show and working alongside Bruce he could really learn from the master!!

I think it probably stems from the Saturday night feel that shows like the Generation Game and It's A Knockout had, where the male presenter had a female sidekick/points awarder/eye candy to hang on his arm.

Not sure Anton qualifies in the first or last category!

I wasn't at the recording, but somebody on the Livejournal strictly_dance was, and I thought you guys might be interested in some of the out-takes she described.

Then when Camilla got her question about the watch wrong, she stood there talking to Heather and Brendan trying to discuss it and show she was right.

And on her Katie Price/Katy Perry question, when it was the break in filming, Brendan kept singing to her to annoy her. It was very cute haha.

Erm..Arlene couldn't master the idea of voting, so Brendan helped her quite alot cos she stood there without a clue.

During breaks in filming, Anton and Brendan were keeping the audience amused be telling stories of Strictly and messing around. Brendan went to the loo, came back and Anton said something about his trousers being wet, so Brendan shook his legs around etc and made a big deal of his flies not being done up. Anton told a story about Esther and Brendan was making loud "EW" noises about her doing a rumba and taking the mickey out of Heather Mills.

Ermm..between the breaks again, they had to keep doing shots of them writing down who they were voting off and they all got annoyed and kept messing around and making us laugh so those shots couldn't be used!"
