Series five for me although three is also a favourite

Series 3, as the celebs as a mix were terrific, ITT was hilarious, the first male winner proved that dancing is for everybody, the marking was sane, and little nastiness overall.

It started to go the wrong way on series4 when they brought 'big names' in like Emma which spoiled the balance for me.

Austin and Erin MADE this series for me and so my favourites..

1. Series3.
2. Series6. Because of the artistry of Austin Healey as the one saving grace.
3. Series4.
4. Series 5. Only Kelly and Gethin saved it for me, didn't like the mood and the shouting. Also the overmarking was apparent.
5. Series 2. Can only relive it through clips.
Didn't see Series1.

i think series one will do badly in this as far fewer people watched it.

I did also enjoy series 3 as i went to the live show several times, those were the days

i voted for series 3. although 2, 3 and 6 are all equal for me. well 2 & 3 are.. wouldn't have enjoyed 6 much if it wasn't for eristin.
it's interesting that series 5 has proved so popular..that's probably my least favourite. didn't really warm to anyone apart from penny.

6 Just for all the brouhaha

I was a big fan of series 2 (I was and am still a big Jill fan ) but my favourite series has to be series 5. I was a big Matt & Flavia fan but I also enjoyed watching Alesha, Gethin and Letitia dancing so I really enjoyed this series.

Have to plump for series 6 as its the first year I've been hooked. Plus I've loved 3 contestants this year when normally there's only been one.

Series 3 was my favourite

For me series 5 was clearly the best, the only blot on the whole thing being how the judges copped out and pretended that Kenny Logan improved. Alesha, Kelly and Matt were all great, Gethin wasn't as good, but was a reasonably high standard and was pretty, and I loved how Letitia got so far. Seeing the smirk wiped off James Jordan's face was hysterical, and the whole cast was just really likable, Dom "Busy Hands" Littlewood aside. Stephanie Beacham packed more personality into one week than 90% of this year's celebs managed in their entire run.

Series 2 probably next just because Jill and Denise were amazing, and everyone else was fun to watch. It had good dancing, but people didn't take it all so bloody seriously.

Then Series 3 because Colin & Zoe were as amazing as Jill & Denise, but the whole thing was too blokey, and there was a really strong and unpleasant drive towards having a male win, resulting in one of the least deserving winners in Strictly history.

Then Series 4 was good for the first half but fell apart as Louisa wore herself out, the overmarking of Emma Bunton reached a level of ludicrousness not seen again until Lisa Snowdon, and Mark and Matt turned out the most boring final of all time.

Series 6 could have been better, but suffered from constant "scandals" mostly drummed up by the public who had their panties firmly wedged up their backsides for the entire run, and the judges choices and public choices being even farther apart than they'd been before.

The only reason to watch Series 1 was to see Chris Parker lose. The only halfway decent dancer was eliminated halfway through, and the whole thing was basically a mess.

not really suprising that series one isnt doing that well considering it was so long ago.

Series 5 with Series 6 a close second.

I like series 5 the best

but i did like alot of the couples from series 6 and it was a close 2nd,
Christine & Matthew (Loved them)
Austin & Erin (They were robbed i reckon)
Tom & Camilla
Jodie & Ian..

I went for 6 but I have liked most of them pretty equally except last year which I wasn't to keen on.

I'd say the only dull celebs on this year were (IMO)..

- Mark Foster (Only at the very beginning, his samba + paso made me chuckle Nice man + body though!)
- Don Warrington
- Jelly Wallace
- Gillian Taylforth

All the others were very entertaining to watch or had a character to them..

I loved series 1 because it was new and I was there at SCD 's Birth
Figuratively speaking of course and JLC too, doing Strictly on 3.

For me Series 5 was the best for a few reasons. Alesha&Matthew became my favourite ever Strictly couple, their win (IMO) was very deserving, the group dances were fun and great to watch; the Dirty Dancing medley is still one I like to watch and generally I liked all the contestants and couples; they all brought something to the show. I liked Letitias 'journey', Gethins' Latin transformation, Kennys paso, Kelly&Brendans rows, the whole series was very watchable, it was fun and entertaining, there seemed to be a buzzing atmosphere all the way through.

Next I like series 2and4equally, I liked series2 because of Jill and Aled, I still think Aled was robbed of the final!lol and I liked series4 because of Ramps, Louisa and CarolCam.

Personally series' 2, 4 and 5 are much more memorable and enjoyable than the others.

The orginal & best - Series 1 Brendan & Natasha were so beautiful & gracefull.I enjoyed Series 5 & 6 alot too.
