Series 1 was fun watching it pan out & seeing how the whole thing was going to work. Series 2 had the fantastic Jill & Darren, very entertaining. Series 3 had the wonderful Jacko who was pipped at the post by the entertaining Goughie . Series 4 had the gorgeous & talented Ramps, he was superb & I still love watching him dance. Series 5 is for me the best ever Strictly, wonderful standard of competition between Matt Di Angelo & the sensational Alesha with Matthew. So series 5 was the stand out one for me, just a breathtaking standard of dancing all the way through, there was just such a huge buzz about the whole series, I loved every minute of it. Series 6 had it's moments but other than Tom's fantastic showdance nothing really blew me away, I still enjoyed it though & supported the show through it's ups & downs. Roll on series 7

Ah now that's a nice summary of series 3. I find myself regarding Darren Gough with (unjustifiable) increasing acrimony these days. I thoroughly enjoyed that series at the time and will now try and remember it in those (pretty accurate) terms. Thanks for that.

Still liked series 5 best though.

Series 5 because my favourite (Gethin) was dancing, followed by Series 4 with Ramps.

Series 5, most definately, followed by 4.

Series 2 by far. Even watching it back I have no complaints about it.
Closely followed by series 4.
I thought this years was the worst - it was the longest with the most contestants but I struggle to think of anything I really enjoyed about it.

Series 2 - because of Aled & Lilia's great partnership and Series 5 - because of the gorgeous Gethin and last but not least - Series 6 - because of the very HOT Austin Healey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
