I love Coleen...
If Jessica Taylor is doing it it'll be quite entertaining on here and in the papers cos there'll be war over her previous experience lol

I'm quite looking forward to Graeme Le Saux. I used to fancy him as a kid.

Sorry, but I can see him being another Greg Rusedski, rather than a Kyran Bracken.

That's not a bad thing. I loved Greg, a real gentleman who always tried his best and he made me laugh so much. Great contestant even if he wasn't the best skater.

I'd love it if Colleen is doing this and wouldnt mind if she did get Dan think they'd be so funny together BUT if the rumours are true then Dan has Roxanne. BUT dont forget there has been another male pro training in the north too so maybe he has Colleen.......

However, we don't know for sure if Coleen is participating instead of Jennifer.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Somebody on the Blue Room forum has just posted the following;

From the Radio Times website today:

Taking part are: Todd Carty, Coleen Nolan, Graeme Le Saux, Roxanne Pallett, Jeremy Edwards, Gemma Bissix, Ellery Hanley, Melinda Messenger, Ray Quinn, Zoe Salmon, Jessica Taylor and Donal MacIntyre, plus Michael Underwood rejoins the competition after an injury ended his experience last year. Voting lines open at the end of the show.

I'm a bit 'celebrity' ignorant I've only heard of half of those.

Looking forward to seeing Michael Underwood again if he does make a return, him flailing into the camera in one round was the high spot of the series for me last year.

I've put everyone I've heard of in bold...

Considering I don't watch soaps or read tabloid papers, I think I'm doing really well.

Well considering she was beaten in Strictly Ice Dancing by David Seaman who was one of the more popular contestants on DOI series 1 (and should have made the final on his SKATING ability) if she doesn't get the tag of Judges' Pet too early on, she should be OK - she didn't strike me as being bigheaded in SID!

Ooh, little Ray Quinn. He'll have to put his new biceps to good use lifting up his partner who is bound to be bigger than him. LOL.

Roxanne Pallett (Emmerdale)
Jeremy Edwards (Holby City right at the beginning)
Gemma Bissix (EastEnders?)
Zoe Salmon (ex-Blue Peter presenter, former Miss Northern Ireland, trained solicitor)
Jessica Taylor (Liberty X)

I don't think Jessica Taylor should of allowed to have been in it as she was in Strictly Dancing on Ice and she would have unfair advantage over the others.

Didn't stop David Seaman! Ray Quinn will have to have Kristina, who else is smaller than her?

Mel is smaller than Kristina, she's only 5ft and Kristina's 5ft2 i think?

Is she really? She looked quite tall to me! But we didn't really get a chance to see her this series, so I can't remember, hopefully she'll return with Michael.

I hope Mel does return with Michael this year as they were my faves last year, so much fun.

Mel is really small, I met her at Bluewater and she's smaller than me and I'm 5ft2

Most of the female pros are quite small, including Jayne. That's partly what makes it so easy to lift them, I guess. In fact, in the opening number of the Christmas Special, with the children, Jayne, Mel, Frankie, Maria and Kristina are barely taller than some of the children!

That's right. The small stature and frame is an advantage in lifts. Jayne is probably one of the larger framed female ice dancers and always was.
