A couple of questions about these that someone who has one might know.

Firstly, what are they?

And secondly, why are they so expensive?

And lastly, the usb internet radios- are these any good?

Radios that connect to your WiFi router and allow you to listen to online stations - rather than just DAB/FM/AM etc.

Most use www.reciva.com.

The Intempo GX-01 with USB port is only £49.99 = not too expensive.

Where did you see it priced at £50? As they have now been discontinued. Was looking for one myself.

I bought the BT Internet Radio for £40.

I've found it to be a good piece of kit.

Only downside is it needs to be mains powered.
