Nooo! I don't want Ringtons to close down, I love their tea, we get it delivered to the door and the little van driver is hot

And I didn't know Roseby's had gone into administration either.

I am a bit confused because the Roseby's in town has gone but I bought two duvet covers in the one on the retail park three hours ago and it looked very bouyant... I think they were the first to go busy so how does that work?

Same here.

My auntie has also had the 'Ringtons tea man' deliver her tea to her door for donkeys years now.

I'm expecting JJB sports, PC World, Currys and a few others going to the wall.

Can't see PC World or Currys being affected - they're part of a much larger organisation and are still very profitable.

If they ever were to be in trouble it would be quite easy to shed a load of stores/jobs to stay afloat.

I was shopping in Adams today and it was virtually deserted, while Next a couple of doors away was packed. There were 2 assistants obviously discussing Adams demise and looked really upset.

I would be concerned at DSG International as a whole as it owns pc world, dixons and currys nd currys digital etc but as a whole it is sellable if any of these branded retailers goes under

but if it went under restructering i would fancy pc world to be merged under the currys branding and streamlined into one operation

but JJB Sports will probabily go under sometime next year

I was in my local Curry's today - was packed, but few were buying. Probably because anything I looked at, I'd seen cheaper elsewhere

This is so funny. It's like playing 'domino rally' in a council house.

Nah, they'll just be more cafés and coffee shops.

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where every shop in the mall became a Starbucks.

Some already are and have been like it since the early 1990's.

I feel bad for the folk losing their jobs, but I didn't rate their clothes anyway, over priced junk.
