old bill2

Oranges Panther price plans now come with 500mb of inclusive data use. The new data bundle can also be added on to other price plans for £5.00. The Orange website has not yet been updated but CS can sort this out for you.

Has this made it's way through to retail yet?

This is annoying now, Orange's plans are so unclear on their site. One of those online chat people told me the only add-on they had was the Orange World Data which was £8 a month for 30MB!

If it is 500MB may have to reconsider going for Orange instead of O2 in January.

Im on the Racoon 300min + 100txt for £20

I then have the 250MB for £7.50

so by what your saying i call call up and ask for 500MB for £5, since my tariff is "other price plans for £5.00" just need a confirmation.

Cool done it! i called up and CS didnt know about it, but the person had a computer dig around found it and applied it saving me £2.50 a month. I do feel better paying £25 a month than £27.50 nice!

The 30mb bundle is someting i used to have for £8
this then changed to the roll over 1 month 250MB bundle for £7.50
now soon to be i take it 500MB bundle for £5

Dont forget in the highly unlikely event that 500mb is not enough for you. The £5.00 unlimited evening and weekend bundle can be added as well. Just make it clear to CS that you want both bundles. For £10.00 you then have 1.5 gig of data useage.

the call centre in the UK has more control in off script things in my experience, so get someone in the UK then tell them 500MB for £5, the person i talked to was surprised i knew about it and they werent even told about it, they probably have to perform some kind of search to find it im guessing.

have to say thank you old bill! you work for Orange?

Legend. Just done that myself. The CS rep didn't know about it, so I basically read out Old Bill's post on the phone to him, and he checked and then set it up for me.

Thanks man, much appreciated.

So does this mean that I can change my Evenings and Weekends for a fiver to this new 500Mb at any time for a fiver? Excellent if true.

Finally got round to doing this. Amazingly painless procedure through an offshore call centre - kudos to Orange.
