I prefer it on a Saturday too, it means if I'm working on a Sunday I miss it!

I have no problem with it on a sunday. Its more relaxing tv (usually ) unlike shows like demons which are more serious drama.

It was on sunday last time wasn't it?

I thought it was always on on Sunday's aswell - I actually prefer it shown on Sundays and I rarely go oujt on a Saturday.

Yes, it moved to Sunday last series but was on Saturday nights for the first two.

The first two series were on Saturday nights. I think it should still be on Satudays, it doesn't feel right on a Sunday for some reason. Tough if some people go out.

There's rubbish on TV for me on a Sunday, so I'm glad. Plus, everyone puts shows on a Saturday and sometimes you're forced to pick between two (thank heavens for Sky+)

It doesn't matter to me as I will record it and then fast forward through all the shouty bits and just watch the skating.
At least the results show will be on the same night unlike SCD!

In some ways I would prefer a Saturday like the first 2 series but to be honest I'll accept any night of the week if we get the results show the same night!

Hello by the way, totally new - hope it's ok to join in?! Looking forward to the new series

I work both nights anyways and record it, but I would prefer Sundays as they usually have less on tv......

It feels better as its 'good' tv before returning to school the next day etc.....

I think I'd prefer it on a Saturday too, I just can't relax on a Sunday evening knowing I've got work in the morning.

That's the one thing that narks me about DOI, two examples:

Holly: IT'S OUR ICE PANEL!

Pip: SKATING AGAIN, NEXT WEEK..

That irritates me too. why can't Holly announce who's Skating again? It's not fair that Phillip does it all. Like on SCD Bruce and Tess announce it in turns.

Being on a Sunday meant that last year was the first time I was able to watch and take an interest. So I am glad that it has been kept to Sunday evening.

It's the opposite for me.

Saturday nights are the nights where I chill out and watch the box with a bottle of vino and a take away.

Sunday nights for me are bath time for the kids.......Getting school uniforms organised....my clothes ironed for the working week......preparing meals for the week etc etc etc

Because of this I ended up missing a lot of DOI last year. I ended up recording it on my V+ and fast forwarding through the bits that I couldn't be @rsed watching. It ruined the show for me TBH

Oh well, I suppose they can't please everyone. It's like X Factor on a Sunday night though IMO. These kind of shows are more Saturday Night TV IMO. Sunday nights are for Dramas, The Royal, The News etc etc (missing Corrie on a Sunday Night by the way!!)

Cracklin Rose I am SO with you on this one LOL! The school uniform and work clothes mountain takes me hours on a Sunday, then trying to watch DOI with my two boys screaming at each other is impossible, at least on a Saturday night I could record it (because I work Saturday nights) and watch it in peace when I came in from work, mostly meaning I don't get to bed until about 2am - if I record it on a Sunday to try and watch in peace, I won't be able to stay up cos of school and work next day

No doubt I'll still find a way though lol

I don't care what night its on just want it to start. I'm glad they have the results show on the same night.
Does anyone know if Defrosted is coming back this year?

Glad I'm not the only one then

I can understand if you were young (and had a social life LOL) that you would prefer DOI to be on a Sunday Night as most people go out on a Saturday evening. Us with kids with much preperation to do on a Sunday, obviously prefer out Saturday Night TV.
