To be fair it's a fitting end to the year for them - first they ruin the show, then they ruin any enjoyment people do get out of it.

I stil like watching some of them, even ones from last year and the year before.
How pointless, i dont understand why they are taking them down. Surely people watching the videos is good promo for strictly?

Mine have not been touched yet, they are all series three or earlier I think. I wonder if it's to do with the DVD they are releasing of series six?
If mine are touched then I will be deleting my youtube account. At the end of the day it is their copyright and if they don't want the videos to be on youtube then that is their right.
I do feel for you and maltipom though, that is an awful lot of hard work to be deleted, and it's not as though you gain anything by doing it

They're just following ITV's route as you stated previously. Probably they get money from America for their clips or something (the sign says it's to do with copyright infringement regarding BBC Worldwide) so don't like anyone copying them.
A sad day for people who thought the BBC put entertainment before money.

Yeah you could have a point there. Theres still a lot of clipes up from series 2, 3, 4 and 5.
It'll be a shame if they start taking all the clips down

All the hard work you guys have put in for uploading the videos for the rest of us. I thought BBC programmes were allowed on youtube and that it was only ITV who had issues?

That's rubbish. It's great being able to watch the SCD videos on youtube that you, Maltipom and others have put on (which I was very grateful for ), I love watching some of the dances back.
