After what happened with JS, I would be shocked if the producers decide to put Vegas in.

They want the comic buffoon dancer, because JS proved it gets better ratings than competent dancing, but they hope to have more control over things this time. But the buffoon dancer syndrome always has the capability to get out of control.

There are always rumours about who will be appearing in Strictly; I VERY VERY sincerely hope that this is just another one of them.

Am I alone in thinking it would be quite amusing? I don't think Strictly is Strictly without some comical dancers. He's lost quite a lot of weight recently, who knows, he may surprise us

However, I doubt he'll be doing it. None of these rumours ever really come to be.

This disturbing rumour emerged last year just shortly after he groped a girl at one of his shows (it was part of the act but even so ).

He's not just a no-hoper but I think there something a bit sleazy about him too and I'd hate for one of the lovely female pros to have to put up with that.

The "Sun" headline says that he is lined up. But the article states that he would like to appear. The only other indication we have is a quoted "BBC insider" (probably a cleaner or carpark attendant) who says that fe would be am audience favourite.

Hardly proof positive that the BBC has indeed "lined him up". In other words, it's another tabloid story. And we all know how reliable they are .....

I bet the SCD production team are still enjoying/enduring their umpteenth turkey sandwich.....I very much doubt they`v started to select potential celebs for next year.......and what do the Sun know....how many celebs were put forward by the Red Tops in the weeks and months prior to the BBC announcing the official line up......and more importantly how many were proved to be correct.....I may be wrong but I think the answer is 0.......(ignoring the published spoilers in the press a few days before the BBC official launch.)
