Pixon question

Hi

Please could someone who owns a Pixon phone let me know the orientation of the sim card.

Does it sit vertically or horizontally?

And then whereabouts does the cut-out triangle part of the sim end up, ie top right or top left or bottom right or bottom left?

Thanks

Without wishing to sound nasty but have you looked at the manual? It will tell you in there, also if you look where the sim card holder is there is usually a outline of the sim card which shows where the cut off bit should be.

Not it does not sound nasty but the problem is I dont have the phone, so I dont have the manual.

I have looked at the downloadable document of the manual on the Samsung site which shows as if the sim is vertical and then the cut off is showing in the top left corner, at least it is viewing the picture at the angle they are showing, but I want to make sure that this is correct.

Depending on where the cut-off part ends decides on if I get the phone or not.

Thanks

You're going to decide on whether you buy a phone based on the sim holder orientation and location?

What does it matter? How is one better than the other? I really, really want to know your views about the pros and cons of sim card orientation. (not being sarcastic).

I knew someone would ask, lol.

I want to put a dual sim card holder into the phone, and as the dual sim card holder can only be put into the sim slot in one of two variations, either vertically with the cut out to the top left or horizontally with the cut out to the bottom left, thats why I need to know.

Thanks

Ahh, there is logic to it after all! Sorry, I thought I was going to get a funny answer there before. You are aware that native dual-sim phones exist too?

Yeah I had seen there were some around and if it was my choice I would probably go that route. However the thing is the person who wants the phone is fairly picky and he likes Samsung phones, it got down to a choice between the Pixon because of the camera on it or the Omnia because of the the WiFi access. In the end he chose the Pixon, I dont query these things, I just ask the questions, lol.

The dual sim worked ok in my own Motorola and Prada, I should say near enough ok, but thats another topic, but on the G600, the sim orientation meant the dual sim card would not fit, so thats why im asking the question on here about the Pixon. I didnt really want to have to go into a shop and then have to explain why I wanted to know as i'm pretty sure as from what I have read on here that this could invalidate any warranty etc.

Thanks
