I would be happy to see the retirement of Brucie for Anton, although i love Brucie and dont mind some of his jokes! but I understand that maybe a fresher presenter might be needed next year! Maybe Vernon Kay?
Oh no not Vernon Kay

How about Paul O'Grady?

Brucie is strictly come dancing. Although some of his jokes do make me groan. I'm willing to put up with them because the man is fab and makes me feel all warm.

The very highest awards like KBE/ DBE are given to comparatively few "entertainers", and those that do get them tend to be internationally known stars (eg Paul Mc Cartney/ Sean Connery/ Elton John/ Tom Jones/ Maggie Smith/ Judi Dench etc). Bruce while well known in the UK has never really made it outside our shores.
This rocket blows up before it leaves the launchpad unfortunately. Many knighted entertainers are relatively unknown outside of the UK. E.g. Sir Michael Parkinson, Sir Trevor McDonald, Sir David Jason, Sir Terry Wogan. To be honest, I don't see why entertainers should be knighted for entertaining citizens of other countries anyway, they should be rewarded for entertaining the Queen's subjects.
