Anyone think these kind of phones will take off or do you think we will always use our pockets/bag I think its kinda pointless since it uses bluetooth you can just get a normal phone and keep it in your pocket etc, I cant think of a suitable situation where this is better than a normal mobile. |

haha I want one. I don't care if it's rubbish. It looks cool. I can talk into my watch and pretend I'm a spy hehe.
It's rather expensive though. I think kids would like them. |

Real watch phones have been around for some time now (especially from China). LG have just announced a n HSDPA watch phone with touch screen and video calling.

Good review. Just can't see myself ansering a call on that thing. Imagine being on a packaged tube/train/bus/bar and having to stick your arm out like that.

I think the most advanced method would be like a tooth cap , relying on your facial vibrations rather than sound. Stick it on one of your wisdom teeth. Invisible, always ready, can always hear it.
In real life the closest thing is a bluetooth headset that relies on vibrations in your jawbone rather than sound so ambient noise is not an issue. |

Watchphones? What a completely rediculous idea. They look terrible.
