Nokia Comes With Music 5310 - why is this happening?
Running Water

I tranfer an album, and all is fine. When I reconnect the phone, the album has been split. I have formatted my memory card, re-installed Nokia Music but it makes no difference.

For example, I transfer Keane's album 'Hopes and Fears'. This works fine and plays fine on the phone. When I connect the phone at a later date, the album has been split. I have 'Hopes and Fears' with the album art, and say, 7 tracks. I then have exactly the same album listed again, without album art, with 2 tracks. And another album, again, titled the same, with 1 track.

It doesn't do this with all albums, but it has done it with quite a few and is annoying me. It doesn't split the album when I use the phone's music player.

Please help!

UPDATE: It seems to be doing it when an artist is different on an album. I have just transferred a compilation album to the phone, and when hooked back up with Nokia Music via the PC, the album is split by Album Artist. How do I make the album list appear by Album rather than the Artist on the album?

Can you clarify what you mean? You say it is fine in Music Player, but where are you looking when it is split? Surely, if its ok in Music Player then That's all that matters?
