I have been told i need to get another programme to convert, but i really don't know what i'm looking for. If it isn't in a format currently supported by the mp3 player, you will need to search for some software that you can use to convert it to a format that you can use on the mp3 player. For instance, YouTube clips are in FLV format, which are not supported by SONY mp3 players, so if you want to use one of those, you will first need to get yourself some FLV Converter software that will let you change the format to something like AVI, MPEG or WMV. Just make sure you use a decent site, like CNET, to download the software. They have some here |

I have been told i need to get another programme to convert, but i really don't know what i'm looking for. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/XviD4PSP the same website has a tutorial on how to use the software but the key points to remember are to change the resolution to 320 x 240 maximum and a bitrate of 768Kbps in order for to work on your walkman - it will be converted to a MP4 format |

Can i reecord stuff of the tv and put it on the walkman? any help would be great thanks again Happy new year 1) download the clip onto your computer as an FLV... (you can use various freeware or sites to do this, such as aTube Catcher) 2) convert the FLV to MP4 (there are various decent freeware out there to do this, i like using Any Video Converter - add the file, then, as mentioned, tweak the video settings to save it as Custom MP4 at 320x240, 768kbps... you can set the audio bitrate to something reasonable like 192 or higher, then press Encode and wait it for it to do its business) 3) when file's done, it will be saved to a folder on your hard drive, locate the MP4 and transfer to your walkman via USB ![]() to record stuff off tv and put it on to your walkman... similar to above 1) rip the DVD that you have recorded stuff on... there are freeware out there you can use, which can even get round copy-protected DVDs, but i don't know if i am allowed to mention them (google is your friend) 2) edit as required and convert the VOB files to MP4 with a video editor/converter software, plenty out there, again google is your friend
