I was just thinking about my first ever mobile. I really loved my C12. The buttons felt really nice to press.

And of course it had that famous "puppy power" message tone!

Did anyone else have one of these phones? Does anyone still have one somewhere? I've no idea where mine went to.

Here's a pic for anyone who might have forgotten what it looks like:

I had a green one which was knackered by lightning when I was recharging it. Don't remember the puppy power ringtone, do remember the weird biorhythm thing it had.

The word biorhythm rings a bell. Can't really remember what it was though.

There was something on it that wasn't actually a game but I made a game out of it. I can't remember what it was though.

I think for one of the early phones, it was really good. I think I got it on PAG for about £20 from Tesco at the time.

I always thought they looked how a phone should look.

It's funny to think of that wee screen compared to the phones now.

Did you ever play with the aerial? I used to screw it on and off although I'm sure it said somewhere that you weren't supposed to do that.

I had one of those, gave it to my brother when I got a Nokia 3210 and eventually my mum ended up with it.

Seems a lifetime ago now.

I had one, it was a black one on free best friend. However in the mid 2000's (cant remember the exact year) O2 shut down the system these phones were using and it made the sim in it completely useless, but it would take any "modern" sim from O2.

I had the free best friend too. I was at uni at the time and had my parents number as best friend.

I looked on ebay expecting to find a c12 for sale but there weren't any, only batteries.
