Hi. I noticed that the first show will be 90 minutes long between 7-8.30pm. But in previous series, the first show has usually been 2 hours long I think.

I don't know how they can fit in 12 routines into 90 mins- it's going to be extremely tight!

Does anyone know if in the first week, it's just the boys or girls dancing? A bit like Strictly in the last couple of years .

I don't know how they are going to fit it all in and don't forget there will be ad breaks in that as well!

I guess they'll do it like this:

7.00-7.10: Introduction and Dance 1
7.10-7.13: ADS
7.13-7.26: Dances 2 and 3
7.26-7.29: ADS
7.29-7.49: Dances 4 - 7
7.49-7.52: ADS
7.52-8.12: Dances 8-11
8.12-8.15: ADS
8:15-8.30: Dances 12 and 13

It'll be cramped. I guess they may start a couple of minutes early and finish a couple of minutes late. It's not like BBC1 is competiting that hard with it. They'll probably run a bit late all through the evening. They'll probably leave the pro dance until the results show, especially with Dean missing.

It should be two hours!

I havent watched DOI before so I dont know much about it, but is it on every night or once a week?

Once a week on a Sunday evening .

The results show follows later on the night.

It begins at 9.30pm, and finishes at 10.00pm .

I hope that they don't keep moving it to a different time slot every week the way that they did with Strictly come dancing....that is soooo annoying!

I've heard rumours that they've copied SCD and split the first two weeks: the boys this week and the girls next. That would explain the shorter than normal first show.

And that next weeks main show is 7:10pm-8:30pm

Its cos the first week is just all boys and the second is just all girls, which i dont like at all!

Me neither, I think they should have the girls and guys competing together.
