Can anyone advise me how I can dispose of an old 26inch CRT TV? I'm getting a new HDTV tomorrow and need to dispose of the old TV.

Stick it up onto Freecycle... that's how we got our current TV

If it works you could offer it on freecycle, someone is bound to want it.

Either that or take it down your local recycling centre, they should have a section for old TV's, ours does.

Ring the council, they'll come and pick it up for free. They did with my Mum and Dads old one, within a day or two of them ringing as well

Freecycle is your best bid. Some children with a new games console for Christmas will love it!
