Hi i am having problems with these speakers on my computer, The Sub and speakers work fine but when you plug a set of headphones into the remote headphone socket the volume control has no effect, Any ideas? I know they are not the most expensive but i would expect this to work.

Thanks!!

Computer's or speakers?

Speaker's volume control should have no effect - it simply passes the signal on to the headphones, volume should be controlled either from the PC or headphone's volume control if applicable.

Thanks for your reply, Its the speakers volume control, The previous speakers i had when you had headphones plugged into the speakers headphone socked it muted the speakers and you could control the volume with the speakers volume control but these you cant,

Yes the speakers are muted but you have no control over the volume level which is to low.

I also have Logitech 5.1's - I personally set the speaker's volume to roughly the same volume as heard in the headphones then use the computer's volume control and leave the speaker's alone - it's more simple this way.

In theory things should not be quiet with headphones in and the volume reasonably high, check computer's volume levels.

I have they are on max, The speakers themselves work fine volume etc but when i connect headphones its a different story and the speakers volume control has no effect.

Well, for me I set the speakers control knob about half way and just use Windows volume, it can go loud enough and headphones sound fine.

This is by design though I'm afraid - have any other headphones you can try? Do they sound louder directly connected to PC?
